  1. I can vouvh for the Twin plate coppermix (mine is the competition model aswell). With the Nismo slave it is a very user friendly clutch. Highly recommended!!!
  2. Any idea on how loud that exhuast would be?
  3. Whats the next group buy Andrew? Nismo plenums?
  4. Brilliant... Hopefully the plane flies extra quick
  5. ^^ When my box let go I was giving it a hard time (8000 rpm change from 2nd to 3rd) but knowing that 3rd is a weak point i was always very tip toey into 3rd, this gear change being no exception. Clutch is a Nismo twin plate coppermix which may or may not have helped but atleast it has a sprung centre.
  6. R33 GTR. 2.8 litre with a pair of RS's hanging off the side of it. 380 - 400 RWKW or there abouts. Late model box in it only having 11,000 KMS on it and i stripped 3rd. Made a good mess Now have the OS 1-5 + input in. Ill get back to ou on how it is on the street.
  7. Cant recommend the Nismo twin plate enough. Nismo slave might be an idea.
  8. Personally with those turbo's i wouldnt go any bigger then Poncams (260's @ 9.15)..... As for sounding tough, it has a lot to do with the tune. A mates poncams sounds lumpier then my 270's @ 10.25's.
  9. Such a same to see this car go!!!. I have driven it a few times and is a absolute Hoot to drive. As said in previous post, sensibly modified with things that *most* owners wont do. IE sump.
  10. 8000 RPM 8250 RPM cut out
  11. Sending a rep to a SAU meeting. I suppose thats a positive step?
  12. Guys. Could anyone tell me which Nissan dealer they went through the get replacement parts when rebuilding this box. I have spoken to 2 dealers and im not getting anywhere. One dealership told me there is 2 different revisions of the late model 33 boxes. The parts im after (well having trouble getting) are 1st and 4th synchro's.
  13. A Little off topic. Would anyone know the specific part number for a 1998 GTR box? I have the number : 32010-12U60. I have googled it but it has returned all sorts of different years. Is there a such thing as a different number for a 1998 box?
  14. This blows. It wasnt avaliable at every service station as it was.
  15. Why would you have to be "nuts" to have your car tuned on v power racing? Thats not exactly the news I wanted.... I smell a retune coming on
  16. 272's @ how much lift?
  17. 2530's wont come on as hard as that T04Z. Has your mate got a stroker of anysort? That may explain the earlish spool up of the T04Z. What are your engine specs... It will make things a bit easier.
