Rightio, I have had the full effort NAPREC "RB26 drag kit" + the "RB26 drag combustion chamber kit" done to my head which was ported by HKS Japan. I chose to only take out the intake squish pad. Whats in the head is listed below; - NAPREC Big valve - combination valve guide https://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&prev=search&rurl=translate.google.com.au&sl=ja&u=http://www.naprec.co.jp/product/p004&usg=ALkJrhhLdKu4fyLlk8pZTewN2weuv0jj9A - heat-resistant sintered sheet ring - the cam cap stud bolt , - valve guide replacement - sheet ring replacement - the race for the seat cut (protruding alignment) - water jacket air vent hole processing - oversize jacket plug-in processing - 1.0 surface Labs until mm A custom set of cams were made using an Alfa Romeo Naturally Aspirated lobe of all things that measured 260 @ 10.85 mm with a very agro ramp rate. The HKS step 2 springs valve floated with anything more than 19 psi/5500 RPM from memory. They got ripped out and replaced with supertech single springs. Not an issue so far. Below is the final result using a 2.8L/-5/E85/9.0:1 comp combo. Turbo's are well and truly finished. What is interesting was at 19 psi (where the gates were set) it went 441 KW. How much of that was down to the valve size itself, who knows. The -5's are coming off and a single 8374/1.05 is taking its place. I hope this helps.

Sounds like they weren't done up correctly to begin with. If that's the case, rod bolts and main stud nuts would fall out willy nilly too.

R34 Gtt E85 & Surge Tank Setup Questions

PM "GTRNUR". He has/had one for sale. I bought the pump off him late last year. Both have done very little work.- 11 replies

You have the ECU, for the sake of a little bit more money just flex it and forget about it. Convenience FTW.- 11 replies

Replace the whole system. Like Brett said above Why waste time going from 444's to 550's?. Get a set of modern 1000's Atleast. -
R34 Gtt E85 & Surge Tank Setup Questions

Forget the 044's. They just don't like the e85 environment. I've had my primary pump get very lazy once, so I changed both feed pumps now the the pumps don't look 100% happy/healthy again. AFR gauge and fuel pressure gauge has confirmed this. There are many options out there now. Have a look at the Holley dominator 1800.- 11 replies

Rb26 With Twin Hks Gt2530 Wont Make Power
Piggaz replied to avoiee's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Exhaust is choking it for one. It's way too small. Ditch the lot and build yourself a 3.5 inch system (minimum) with decent (universal) mufflers and try again. Cams ain't the problem unless when it was put together one of the cams are a tooth out. Seen it before on a mates car. Rag in cooler piping? Lol -

I can't find them anywhere online. Can you purchase one to suit an 8374? -

All that junk weighs a fair bit. Have you had it all on the scales? It definately feels good to rip it all off and throw it out! How long till it's on the dyno? -
The purple R34 sounded absolutely nuts that day. It was definitely a crowd pleaser!

It's an rb30. It can't possibly sound any good.

They can be but in the single pipe versions (3.5 or 4 inch) they're quiet and flow. I just happen to have the only twin 3 inch Racepace exhaust made for sale. Front pipe to exhaust tip. Pm if interested. (Only selling because I'm ditching the twins and going single turbo, otherwise it wouldn't be going anywhere).

Stroker (2.8), E85, GT RS's, split dumps, HKS front pipe and Kakimoto Full Mega N1. It was the most intense, obnoxious sound. It was literally louder than venting to atmo gates... That's the good part of you like that sort thing. That cat back on a stockish car sounded no where near as barky and loud. It also was awful for any type of performance. Funnily enough, the last 5 items on that list have been pulled off the car. Kakimoto sound great but hold the car back. * ignore second gear. It was having ignition issues in anything but first gear.

Bcnr33 Wheel Fitment Help!
Piggaz replied to StefanjR33's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Te 37 10.0 + 20 with a 265/35x18 tyre on a R33 GTR. That is without hektik camber to try put a square block into a round hole. 10.0+ 12 with the same tyre, the rear will rub under hard acceleration and hitting a dip in the road. -

265's don't belong on a 10.5 wide rim, they're a 9.5 ideally or 10.0 wide maximum. 10.5's should be run on 285 or 295's. All because the wheel is on the car, doesn't mean it fits. Compromising on the correct tyre width to run a wide wheel or silly offset is crazy. -
1.00 minimum. Bit silly to choose an 1,100 HP turbo then tighten up the rear in the quest for response. Let it breathe!
