  1. Hi guys, I bought these back when the group deal for the big brake upgrade was on, these are still new in the box, they are the 356mm disk with the 8pot piston caliper for the front of the car. They come with the dog bone for the R32/33 GT-R. Street compound pad provided by D2 You need to run minimum 18 inch wheels. PRICE: $1800 ONO. Buyer pays for postage. Brakes are in Padstow NSW.
  2. In tank is a little different to external though. E85, 044's ain't upto it. I've gone through two pairs of them and totally over it. There must be a better pump than these that last.
  3. Scotty, opinions of the Holley Dominator 1800? Any experience with it?
  4. As in what it will do with zero pressure?
  5. Not yet. Quick swap anyway, so all good.
  6. Ah Pete. You'll just have to wait and see
  7. Day of nothing yesterday. A sub station up the road went up in smoke and the whale was up on the hoist higher than the gearbox jack could reach. Lol. Took back my old transfer case to Award as it was on exchange basis. Awesome guys at Award, Trish and Terry. Highly recommended!! That was that. Looking at fuel pumps, I found this bad boy. http://fuelab.com/products/race/prodigy-fuel-pumps/item/42402_prodigy_fuel_pump_high_power_efi_in_line/ 720L/hour at 3 bar and 560 ish at 75 psi. I'm sick of dicking around with 044's that just don't last. It will also cover me for any future turbo changes/upgrades... *cough* . It's E85 friendly also.
  8. Clutch is on Transfer and box are married up.
  9. I'll report back early next week what it's like to drive. What I did forget was how nice the coppermix is/was to drive. It felt nicer than my nugget daily clutch.
  10. Really had no other option. I'd rather get everything to bolt right in than dick around making shit fit.
  11. There is the culprit. The tooth fairy was good, bought me a OS88 instead of a few bucks. Winner! R3C Old and new. Evidence of an exhaust leak on the 5 speed. Modified transfer case.
  12. I'm heading out there today. I'll see how they're going.
  13. Ian (RB26/3.4) suggested that pump too. Struggling to find a flow chart though. Apparently they're super quiet too.
  14. Bit of an update. The 5 speed should be out of it today. I dropped out transfer case oil, gearbox oil, coolant, engine oil and 60 L of fresh E85 so the guys can run it up to make sure it's all happy days. As much as I hate paying for them to change the oil it's just too much of a hassle to do it while it's out there. The guys also did me a huge favour to open up the workshop at 6 PM on Sunday to take it in. The quicker it's out the better. I picked up a modified transfer case from Award today. I asked Terry how much difference there is between a stock one and this, his reply was "heaps". Should be interesting. It also looks like atleast my primary 044 has kicked the bucket again! It got started last night from dead cold, AFR's were 15.8-16.2 and from memory the fuel pressure was a tad low. Just above 2.1 ish bar at idle, I remember it sitting a bit above 2.5.I've had this issue before and turned out to be a lazy fuel pump. Grrrrr. Time for one big single pump I think. Suggestions? Progress shots should filter through tomorrow.
  15. The badge, front and rear diffusers on The V - Spec, 2 extra fields on the MFD and the quicker 4WD computer. Nissan should have done us all a huge favour and left the mechanical diffs in instead of being fancy.
  16. How's this engine looking, Fatman? Have you done a comp test lately?
  17. They have been flowed back up. All spot on. I'll take some photos and explain what's happening on Wedneaday night. Joeys got flowed up and had the same issue but not as bad.
  18. Gearbox goes out on Wednesday. Turns out the baskets collapsed in the top of the injector. Seems to be a pretty big issue with 2000's. New (different style) baskets in and it runs like a Swiss watch.
  19. 28 psi was at 3300 I believe. That's a 6466 with a 1.00 rear.
