  1. I think he means there is going to be a lip going from the 3 inch internal diameter dumps to the 2.5 inch front pipes. Just do it all at once. Bugger doing stuff multiple times.
  2. My HKS pink but belt is quiet as. Would say it's over tightened.
  3. That looks like the issue. Micko has run E85 in both his cars for years and hasn't had an issue. The problem is when they sit around for months and months on end that problems start to pop up. But sitting around like a shag on a rock they don't like generally.
  4. Get in the Tiida and just rock up. Take the keys off Jimbo and rip a launch up the street.
  5. My engine popped with E85 in it. Injectors and pumps sat around for 10 months while I sorted it all out. One of the feed pumps became quite lazy (AFR and pressure gauges showed this) and my spray pattern was a disaster on the ID 2000's. No amount of cleaning made them usable again. The only thing I can put it down to is the E85. If that happens on pump fuel then you're fooked either way.
  6. Every muffler robs 100 whp? I find that VERY hard to believe.
  7. Most guys that go such a large engine whack a big fark off turbo on it. It's gonna be a rip snorter! Bulk torque at any rpm, won't have to rev it to the moon to make it want to get a hurry along. Stop dicking around and get some results already!
  8. Puuuuuring like a kitten NOW HURRY UP AND GET IT ON THE DYNO!
  9. Didn't "Tricstar" try this in his own stock gear set and smash it to bits the first event?
  10. Compared to a decent injector they idle like shit and low rpm they don't run as crisp.I've had both. If you don't care about that stuff then go ahead and buy the old school Junkers.
  11. Why the hate for something that's half decent? The argument of "my car came from the 90's so that means I have to have rubbish 90's injectors" is silly. Buy something decent FFS.
  12. So much this. Having gone from Sard 800's to a modern 2000, I can tell you the 2000 idles much nicer and drives so much better than those old wrecks. To say "nope, nothing that doesn't drop in" for a sake of a plug change is crazy.

  14. Can update that the Unigroup car that this kit was being used on was just about to have the cam covers bolted back into place after install. Hopefully next week they have an overlay. Basic setup was a 2.6, 6266 open scroll, 250 @ 9.15 exhaust cam, E85.
  15. Only the turbo to be bolted up. If they can't do that with the bonnet on then they should be sacked.
  16. Luke has a 3.0, you have a 3.2. Basically means you're gonna have more grunt naturally without the aid of the turbo.
  17. It won't want to putter around, it'll want to turn tyres everywhere!
  18. Read this http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm Go to your preferred tuner and make sure it's timing and fuel is right on a dyno.
  19. You'll forget about all the bullshit and pain once it's done. I still for the life of me don't understand the 8.5:1 comp ratio business.
  20. Can even use your factory style front pipes with the EFR kit. The full race dumps bolt upto it. But looks like a disaster under the bonnet
  21. Manifolds are a drop in the ocean really.
  22. $3,200 without rubber. These have never been on a car guys.
