  1. PSI is VERY relevant.I can't see how power can make any difference seeing that both valves are shut when it goes "bang". Boost pushing against the intake valve is a big contributing factor in float.
  2. No way. I need some sort of advantage with all you blokes and 3.0 + litres .
  3. They ever tell you what compression ratio you ended up with?
  4. Gonna plumb the gates back in, Pete or let it sing?
  5. It was the 1.05. I had the same thoughts in my head before I got in it. Yes it had v cam BUT it also had a F con v pro which was half assed tuned on a 37 degree day. I can't see the point in going back to the 0.92 IWG, it went that well. So much untapped potential that's for sure.
  6. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/422006-front-cusco-lsd-on-gtr/ Have a read. In all seriousness, if I had my time over again diffs would be in the group of first mods I would do to a stock car. The stock stuff, especially the front is trash.
  7. Are you sure you need them, Eric? My -5's have been in the car since 2011 and don't have any restrictors at all. No issues to date.
  8. A real front diff. Best handling mod you can do to these things. V spec or not.

  10. What camshaft have you got in there? I highly doubt you'll need a duel spring! If you keep it at say 20% throttle, will it rev out to 7000 rpm without it doing it's thing? If you give it more boost, does it do it's "thing" earlier?
  11. How big of gains regarding what exactly? As Brett said, shoving higher lift bump sticks in there won't be doing any favours unless you get a decent spring in there.
  12. As above, why is VCT gone?
  13. What size RP system did you get?
  14. http://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/55845-rb25-turbo-upgrade-all-dyno-results/page-51#entry7469435 Go back to page one and look. 51 pages of RB25 results.

  16. Couldn't hurt. To the middle of the hump on the dipstick. Did it for years on a stock sump with track, drag, hillclimbs and circuit. Never an issue.
  17. Ah, fair enough then.
  18. What's the difference between a 2.6, 2.7 or 2.8? That's just crank length All of which can have an 86.5, 87, 87.5 or 88 mm piston if you want? Unless it comes with a matching set of pistons for the "pre machined block", this block adds no advantage if that's the case. Even then, what's a bore and hone?
