Do I need to re-tune my car after changing the valves? for some f**king reason now at idle its hunking up and down in revs after I rev it abit. Its really starting to piss me off. ever since the idler pulley bolt gave up the car is nothing but problems now.

could they be the new valves taken from r33 gtr?

first time we started it up today and started doing it, we used metal head gasket could that be it?

what do you think it is?

Idler pulley bot snapped whilst driving, bent valves.

Hi there after getting my car fixed, I test drove it today and there seems to be an intermittent high pitch whistling noise near injectors 5-6, what could it be I'm stumped, I checked all the hoses and they are all on. Anyone know what this could be? It stays on during driving and when its stationary, hope this helps.

Can you get that shine using enamel? Or do you have to clear coat to get that shiny look

I want to paint my rb26 engine cover a candy apple red. Only thing I want a colour to last and not fade under extreme temperatures in the engine bay. Is there a heat resistant 2 pack or powder coating?

I have the early 89 model gtr, some people say that the early 05u gtr blocks are stronger then the newer N1 blocks. Apparently the new generation N1 blocks have problems I find this hard to believe but is this true? thanks

not spending $4,000 that's a ridiculous price

Here is my R32 GTR

more of a clicking sound if anything. when I pulled over I had a mate standing there watching as I cranked the engine once just to see what it was. noise was coming more from the fan/cam gears, basically as I was craking it the teeth were skipping. Today we roatated the cam gears both intake and exhaust and it seems like intake side was harder to move then the exhaust. Tomorrow we are going to look deeper, really dont want to take off the head, thats a last resort, I might borrow a borescope of someone i know thanks for the advice

I was driving my car lastnight on the freeway doing 80km/h on 5th about 2,500rmp when I heard a loud ceramic clicking sound from the engine. I straight away turned off my car and managed to pull over on the emergency lane. Today I was going through the car and found that the bolt on the idler pulley completely snapped and the timing belt came loose. i'm just wondering am I looking at any engine damage? Thanks

I went to flush out the oil out of my transmission today, and found x3 small ball bearings about 1mm in size on the magnetic side of the tranny plug. When I drove the car last it was fine. What else could it be?
