Whats the penalty for running a 5th engine, ten place grid im guessing, it may be worth runnning 5 engines hard and taking a penalty at some point than running 4 engines soft. Merc has already used like 80% of their tokens, id say ferrari have used alot too given they were topping the speed traps and the car is much faster already this year. Renault have only used about 20-30% of their tokens they just arent delivering. Was suprised to see the mlcaren-honda qualify dead last, but then again not really they had a woeful time in testing. Id say by the time that car can win races it will be time for button and alonso to retire lol.

Good to hear you got it sorted matt, the radiator cap is always the cheapest and easiest place to start especially given the symptoms you had, im not suprised the nismo one failed after all its not made to a higher quality level than the standard one it just holds more pressure. In my opinion theres nothing wrong with running a 1.3bar cap even on a daily street car as it is only roughly 5 psi more pressure in the cooling system and unlikely to make the water pump leak prematurely. What does stuff the seal in the water pump is debris in the water from not maintaing it with regular coolant changes. Which leads me to my next point, that if the coolant is old/not maintained it loses its anti boil properties which will contribute to or cause irregular overheating just like a faulty radiator cap. For those with boiling after you switch the car off thats all it can be, its either not bled properly, the radiator cap isnt holding pressure or your coolants anti boil properties are no longer there

Hey Terry, These are just the original side skirts like on any R32 gtr. I bought them because i wanted the pieces that mount to the bottom of the front guards which are obviously missing from this for sale thread and the pics. No one wanted to sell me just the front pieces so i had to buy a complete set to get them. If memory serves me right your R32 gtr has 2 piece side skirts so they are identical to that

Hey guys, I just upgraded the turbo on my 99 Jdm S15 Spec-r manual so i have the original one for sale. This turbo is the best variant of the S15 T28 turbos. My car has 95k kms on it and i have the import papers to prove it etc. I bought the car completely standard (stock exhaust, air box etc) in 2010 and drove it that way until i did the basic bolt ons and had it tuned on 14psi in late 2012, where it made 180rwkw. So long story short this turbo is in great condition and has only been used above factory boost levels for 2.5 years. The car has only been used as my daily drive and has never done any track work, drift days or anything except the odd squirt on the street. The turbo shaft play is still as per factory spec and in perfect condition. This information regarding the difference between the S15 turbos is from the frsport web page but its also been well documented by discopotato03. The Difference between this turbo and the S15 Automatic Transmission Turbo (Nisan_14411-69F00/Garrett_466541-5001) is the Hi Nickel "NiResist" turbine housing and inconel blade materials for extreme heat resistance. One can expect to push a few more horsepower out of this turbo than the Automatic version http://www.frsport.com/Nissan-Factory-OEM-S15-Spec-R-SR20DET-Ball-Bearing-Turbo-Garrett-GT28R_p_1265.html I will also throw in a set of used gaskets that can be re-used ok if you are on a budget. As you can see from the pics some of the compressor housing inlet gasket is still attached around the studs so personally i would replace that one just to be 100% safe. Due to the spec and condition of this turbo i am asking $600 and will post it at your expense if needed. I am located on the Northside of Brisbane for pickup and welcome any inspection. Please contact me via Pm if you are interested in this turbo. Cheers Mick
