As per the topic i have a some R32 GTR parts for sale First up is a front lower lip, the condition is pretty good it has a few scratches though. This lip was purchased a few weeks ago from GGG. Quick sale $180 Second is a pair of barely used DBA 4000 series front slotted rotors. They were bought from 2GUP2U who used them for about 5000km's on his show car doing street driving only. Letting these go cheap also at $200 I need to have these parts picked up by 5pm on thursday as i am going OS and am looking for a bit of extra spending money. I feel these prices are quite good so dont bother pm'ing me anything lower i simply wont reply. To the guys who are genuinely interested i can meet you anywhere in the northside as im off work atm Cheers guys. Ps check out my trader rating if you have any doubts Mick

yeah it looks loaded, i think roy was saying his is high. If u could measure it up when you get time that would be great, clearly whatever you are doing is working

How about some high res shots of this car? I really liek th way the front bar is done! -
Thanks not too bad, i dont think i would get the ceramic coating but the ces option is right up the list. This was todays progress, i put in the nismo gt lsd pro 1.5 tt model Havent taken it for a drive yet, moving it around the workshop it had minimal shuddering

Cheers baron, from a technical view point i can see where you are coming from and do agree with you, but on the other hand i also think of it like having two 1500cc motors with what will be a -5 on each. I imagine a 60mm dump pipe wouldnt be too bad. The extra size of the 30 i think can be discounted a bit as it will only rev to 7000rpm and since its about moving air (i think) whatever works on a 26 reving ~20% or to 8400rpm should work fine on a 30. Obviously im no expert though. Cameron, thanks for the document i do like the look of the ces ones, it says the wastegate gas is kept seperate for 14 inches which i feel is a good distance. I have one of those massive 4 inch metal cats (not sure if that is the brand i think that is catco) but i did think it only has 3 inch flanges on it. Atm it bolts to the BATMBL dump pipe and to the trust pe2 system no worries. Ill have to do some investigating of the size. Do you remember how much you paid for the system and when that was? Thanks fellas
-
Thanks mate, that is another option i had forgotten about. Does the CES kit still bolt to a standard flanged cat, not that i have a stock cat but i dont really want to buy another one. Also how do you think they would have fitted if the head was upto 38mm higher? I say upto because im going to slot the engine mounts around 10mm when the rb30 goes in Edit: cheers marlin ill have a look
-
Yeah i have been looking at that exact combo as an alternative, but when i price it up on nengun or greenline it costs more than the trust kit. Not that cost is everything but it was mostly why i was leaning the trust way. I dont like the hks dumps with the short seperated wastegates, i much prefer the length the trust ones keep the wastegate gas seperated for. I must admit i cant really decide what is better when it comes to having a decent length of serparation wiht the trust kit VS the bellmouth type of the tomei ones. Being able to change the front pipes if they were damaged is a good thing with the tomei/hks option though. Fitting is not a problem as i ll be doing it myself and wont be paying for it to be done. All the cursing and swearing will be mine to enjoy, no doubt the extra height of the 30 will make it just that much more enjoyable Cheers for the input baron

Thanks baron, i think i go that wrong about the front pipes they are not the mx ones but rather these ones im thinking of getting. How do you rate these?
-
Yeah it was good head, almost the best ive had hahah. Thanks again for the good price, i figured youd like to see a pic of where its ended up I dedicded to reco the head anyway as i had it skimmed to go on the rb30 bottom end. Im not sure what its cost all up so far but yeah it wont cost a huge amount of dollars. I figured for the first motor ive built i would stick with as much standard parts as possible incase it goes bang. The power i can get from a stock rb26/30 should be more that enough for me to improve my lack of driving skills with. The block has new standard .25 oversize mahle pistons, acl race bearings, arp rod bolts and jun crank collar. Im using new standard r33 gtr oil and water pumps. At this stage i havent decided if ill throw in some tomie cam gears or not. The machining and balancing of the rb30 cost around 1500 this included fitting the collar, the rod bolts, tapping for the high position tensioner and drilling out the oil galleries and i think modifying the big end oil feeds to be the same as the rb26 is. I was i little suprised with the price but it was done at a top workshop so i guess you pay that for top quality work. At some point ill add it all up,not that i really want to know I still need to buy a set of -5's and a twin plate clutch for it, as well as the dump pipes and the inlet piping. Im thinking of the greddy suction kit and the mx front pipes and a nismo twin plate.

Awesome, would love to see the pics are you sure the uploader isnt working? I find once u select the pic from your hhd, it doesn show up where it should but if u hit the upload button anyway it still works
-
Here is the head the head you sold me baron today was fairly productive, made up some oil restrictors, put the head on etc
-
Hey baron do you have any details on the rear overfenders on the black 32 with the sr20? Know anyone that makes good quality ones? Cheers mate
-
Baron: thanks for the repl, id have to agree about the headroom and weight, were was the crystal ball the day i imported the car Ill have some pics to come but im working on a making a fiberglass mould to make a sort of plug to fill up the gap thus giving me the space and weight back. It will be made out of carbon and then painted the same color as the car. Hopefully it works out well
-
Whats bad about a sunroof roy? Im making a carbon "plug" for mine soon, party to save weight but mostly for headroom
