  1. Cheers guys, That is the exact problem I presented to the lecturer, He didn't respond however.... Detailed analysis on what, why, how things are done to modern (competing) race cars are very secretive, which almost means half this assignment HAS to be bullshitted. He seems like he's happy to accept bullshit :-ss ?? Both very good options that I didn't really consider though. I'll have a look into NASCAR, hopefully I don't get the same issues like other modern forms of racing. Group B could also work well, as I have used a bit of info from the 1960's Lotus Formula one team as reference points. Thanks Bill
  2. Hi All, Just thought I'd see if anybody could help me with research on one part of my 8,000 word report for uni... I'm absolutely stumped in finding the right article or book for this part of the assessment. I have to do a Literature review on an article, book, journal, case study etc from a credible source. In the literature review I have to, (Describe racing cars you find in the literature, include key features of the design of a racing car. Describe sizes, materials used, optimum speed, specifications of cars available on the market. Aesthetic requirements of the car and any other details you find in your literature review). One thing which is off limits is, Formula 1, becuase every second student I speak to is just copying and pasting from their website. I was hoping to find an article/book/journal which would have in depth design details and specs on the z-tune or any other nissan based race car. If that is too difficult, then any car will suffice as long as it's not formula 1 and is a race car. If anyone can link me articles, journals and such that would be good for the above, that would be GREATLY appreciated as I'm really struggling. Cheers in advance Bill
  3. Want to sell the wheels? VY SS 17" stockies Plus $$600 Cash
  4. Thanks heaps Your a legend The silver ones are the type of look im going for... Bit of a pricey rim though... But worth it
  5. Hey Guys, Buying some BBS Challenge Rims for my New daily. They will be 19". Just wanted to get an idea of what they would look like in Black and Silver. If someone could chop the wheels i'd really appreciate it. Or if not, could someone give me an idea on how people chop wheels/kits etc. Pics are attached below, to help out, I've put up a few, hopefully it helps. and sorry for such large pics, don't know how to make them smaller :-s Thanks again
  6. Just curious to know, do all the guys driving these exotics actually know people that own them? Because That's absolutely mental... My car experience has to be the most boring out there. I've only every driven a stock EVO8 MR, which was pretty fun as it was a good friends, and he let me boot it around corners. My old R33 was ok, nothing like the EVO though, and I've only ever sat in 1 GTR in my life which was an R32 about 300ish awkw and I only passengered in that but was still worth it. Lol Every person I sort of know that owns something exotic, is usually a friend of a friend, and they never even drive these things anyway because they're always working 6-7 days a week. I.e R35 x 1, F430 x 1, SLK 55 AMG x 1
  7. Yep, Its mostly doorman, bouncering, but not often, and not for big venues. I am trying to stick with factory sights, schools residentail areas, and it gives the same result. Also, so your saying they pretty much cover a proportion of income which should be declared, in non-deductible expenses?
  8. Hai everybody, So i've been introduced to the world of cash in hand wages. Previously working in accounting and moving to security, I can't seem to get any jobs/employers who want to pay my super, tax etc etc... Naturally it waves a red flag. First thing first is I don't want to take the risk of working cash in hand, which is illegal, secondly how do these employers and employees actually get away with is. I've thought of every possible way in my accounting knowledge and there's no solution. So what are they doing to not get busted? why are they doing this? What is the benefit besides tax evasion which is risky? Anyone else out there with knowledge, business owners accountants or whatever, no need for minor details, but shedding light on this would be helpful. Cheers Bill
  9. Still for sale, price is negotiable. Rego due at the end of Feb, so willing to work around that
  10. Great car to drive guys, don't miss out. Price is negotiable
  11. For sale is a Mitsubishi EVO 8 GSR (Jap spec) Kilometers: 56,xxx Transmission: 6 speed manual Prce: $33,900 (No swaps or trades) This car is owned by a friend of mine who wanted me to advertise it here for him. He is the first Australian owner, and has taken care of this car meticulously. He is extremely fussy and makes sure everything stays perfect in the car, as you will be able to tell by looking at the car in real life, or even the photos. It has been serviced every 5,000 km on the dot, using Royal purple and washed on a weekly basis. The car is also a rare factory black. There are not many EVO 8's on the market selling in this colour. The only upgrade done to this car, was replacing the clutch with an Exedy sports organic clutch less than 2 months ago (Reciepts). Otherwise the car is completely stock. He had plans to Modfy the car further however, is now looking to save for a house. The car has a 3 point imobiliser with a digital siren. Has never been in an accident. Comes with japanese log books (Will confirm) was most probably an Auction grade 4.5 (Will also need to confirm) Contact: Here Please only serious buyers
  12. Some items up on ebay, visit link for the ebay links. lol
  13. Hey Everyone, Up for sale is my motorbike gear, Good brands for a good price. Great for a learner rider, who doesn't want to blow a tonne on branded gear at RRP. Condition of everything is practically new, as I didn't own the bike for long and sold it once I had my P's. http://www.cbr250.com/cbr250/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=60220 Cheers Bil
  14. Want to buy a cheap run around car for uni/work. Please PM me with the: Car, Model, KM'S, condition, Accesories i.e. power steering, A/C etc. Would prefer a car which is currently registered, however can do without depending on price/car condition. Minor body damage i.e. dents/scratches paint fade are not an issue. Must be mechanically sound. Location: Sydney. Roughly around $1,000 can stretch but not by much. Prefer excels but not heaps fussy. Thanks Much appreciated.
