Are they the current Vertex 3s? Those are the ones that have the reported problems due to the newer sandforce controller in them. Have 2 friends with them & both are having freezing BSOD problems & the there seem to be a lot more cases being reported on WP forums. But the Vertex 2 my parents had, have no problems for over a year now Statistically speaking I think intel SSDs have the lowest failure rate, but they are also the most expensive ones around.

Sooo... since I'm still using a ancient 19" standard LCD with a res of 1280x1024, can I expect close to constant 60fps with my GTX 570 on a high/ultra setting? That would be sweet.

That wasn't a graphic card upgrade, it was just extra RAM. Doubled the N64's 4MB to 8MB... & thus I was able to play perfect dark

I've noticed the decrease in other people warning on coming traffic about speed cameras/coppers hiding in bushes. Last time I got a warning flash from a Golf R on Leech highway about a mobile speed camera was about a year ago. That road seem to have a camera of some sort at every major intersection...

You play as Japan & set up to conquer the rest of the world & you can play it like history did & form the tri-alliance with Germany & Italy or go & fight everyone by yourself. No gaint robots unfortunately but you get gaint battle ships that put those tiny triangle things the empire uses in star wars to shame. This being anime-ish game, most of the world leaders (Hitler, Churchill, Mussolin etc etc) are chicks On topic how is the stability of this game on everyone's rig so far? All my friends who bought it are all having different degrees of problem with it, mostly on multi-player as well.

Well at least your honest about it, anyone who reckons they never speed is lying to themselves. As far as I can see, those radar detectors can only save you from minor speeding anyway (which is what you want) if you are going way too fast, you won't have time to slow down by the time the detector goes off. As for the fines, we still have it pretty "cheap" compared to the Eastern states for low speeding offences, most other state offenses starts at ~$150 with 1 demerit point loss. While we still have $75 with no demerit point loss for now.

Bummer... & here I was thinking of buying one in the not so distance future. However I still see plenty of people (mainly dudes in euro 4x4s) having them on their dash. Oh well that money saved can go towards getting my front bumper repaired instead.

Dalkeith is considered to be the best "Rich" man subrub amongest the Chinese family friends I know... But take it with a grain of salt as it is they are the same people that think a BMW 318i/Merc C180 is the same as a 7 series or S-class... My parents bought a block of land in a subrub called Jindalee (way up north, freeway ends before reaching there) & it looks pretty decent with all new houses & I've being driving there a couple of times at night/evening & didn't see any little shitheads runing around like I see in my current subrub.
