I remember the last one, I was one lucky SOB. It just happened on that day I was late on my assignments & was rushing to get it all done so I stayed at Curtin instead of driving home... When I got back, house got several smashed windows & some roof damage from the hail.

I once used close to 100% throttle accelerating from the lights on Tonkin Highway & there was a Police car a couple of cars back. Was in a 4 speed slush box Corolla though...

+1 Sounds like they took off fast from the traffic lights & did 0 to speed limit (or there about) in 4 - 5 seconds instead of the usual 1/2 minute most road snails does in their Camrys. & now general sheep public in their Camrys are outraged due to this accelerating too fast from the ligts... O/T but Tonkin highway has a 100km/h limit with traffic lights!

I'm currently have the usual bolt ons (turbo-back exhuast + high flow CAT, POD, Boost Tee, FMIC & fuel pump) & made ~180rwkw with SAFC 2, also my car is an auto so I would assume rear wheel power would be higher if it were manual.

I made several trips to Albany back & forth this year (around 430 km one way) & the best I can muster is around 10.5L/100km, then again I'm usually the one overtaking people which means foot down 100% while this is happening. EDIT: I bring a 10L fuel can everytime I go, just in case.

Not much I can think on for fuel... but, Food = just bring with you 1 month supply of instant noodles (or the like) & leech hot water from the resturants/locals where ever you go. Motel = just sleep in your car. If you want a shower go to those petrol stations that also have showers in them. Thats what a family friend did when he needed to make a trip to the eastern states & back. Good luck

Drive as fast as I can (which actually won't be that fast since its pretty much jammed 24/7) & when I get pull over for speeding I'll just slip a quick 50 Yuan note to the copper & we are both happy. Everybody wins.

How slow is the 0 - 100km/h for a N/A R33? They got to be dam slow to be slower than your granny Camry... My mum's 02 model takes 10.4 seconds for 0 - 100km/h & it is the 'slightly' more powerful V6 version. So I can't see how the current ones would be better, since they are all 2.4 4 cyls now & are heavier with each generation with all the extra electronic & safety crap added. If anything one of the older models with a 5 speed manual would probably be the fastest one out of the bunch. This was the case with the Corolla my dad bought (06 model) which was slower in the acceleration department compared to the last gen, due to the fact that it has gain extra weight (for extra safety stuff) without much increase in engine power/torque. Out of all your typical boring sedans (Accord, Mazda 6, 6 cyl falcodores etc etc) I find the Camry has one of the worest 0 - 100km/h time. Only thing slower on top of my head is the Great Wall X240 (which is not a sedan) which clocks in at 20 seconds

You can get the pssht noise with the stock valve just by changing the in-take to a POD... It is if you are trying to get that 15 year old @ your local KFC carpark... I think.

At least raise the speed limit from Perth to Albany to 130km/h. Since I drive there a lot As far as country driving goes, I tend to stick to ~115 - 120km/h normally, but when overtaking then it is foot down all the way until I can merge back after the overtaking.

My uncle used to let me watch horror movies all the time back in China when I was kid around that age. Although I usually end up getting scared like sh*t & can't sleep at night and uncle will get screamed at by my grandfather for letting me watch it.

Is that between the highest & lowest reading cyl or when compared to the average/majority reading? I got one at 155 (cyl 1), one at 165 (cyl 5), rest all @ 160

I've a similar board (P8Z68-Deluxe), I presonally don't bother with using them. OC is best done manually anyway (espeically if you have got a i5/i7 unlocked CPU since its super easy) & as for the power saving thing... to me thats like saying I'm buying a Skyline to save petrol. LOL

Yeah, that was the reason I went M4 instead of vertex 3. Now I got 2 SSDs to play around with I'm not sure if I should even bother with setting up that intel smart response storage thingy on my Z68 mobo since I will probably just dump my most played games on my 2nd SSD instead.

Anybody using the sever crosshair? I found it helped my aiming a lot when I'm grinding down meds & lights in my KV-5 & they keep on running around like flies.

SSD is one of those things you won't 'get it' unless you have used it. Then once you do you will never want to go back to regular HDDs for the OS boot drive again (unless you got some uber RAID setup with 10k rpm drives). I just bought my 2nd SSD (120Gb Cruical M4) for my next computer build.
