  1. My mum didn't know much about her car, all she knows is that it is a Toyota sedan.
  2. So much fight here with Skylines vs Rotorarys vs V8 commodores... So I shall bring in a new contender; the Falcon XR6T (& F6), over the years it have grown to be quiet a formidable opponent against the V8 commodores in traffic light grand prix & up until recently with FPV releasing its SC V8, the F6 was the faster car in Ford's line up, beating the old Ford V8. What's everybody's option of it? I'm thinking of buying one (older F6 or a current gen XR6T) as my next car & do the usual mods to it (most say you can get 300rwkw fairly easily with just bolt ons & flash tune). On one of my trips to Albany I was following behind a XR6T and that thing just goes, everytime he pulls out to overtake some snail in Camrys/caravan/road train.
  3. Soo... much better than Tiger? I'm currently sick off grinding it , might just end up farming xp using my Lowe/Kv-5 & convert the xp to get to Tiger II instead.
  4. IS-7 looks funny with that little machine gun stuck on its head... In other news, I just renewed another month of premium account to grind my way to the German metal shoe box (Manus), at Tiger atm... stock Tiger is POS to use.
  5. Driving a Skyline (even stock) out on Friday night near the city is a defect risk in itself...
  6. +1 Our WA Police don't seem to care much, several times I get pulled over for RBT/license check (once for speeding) with my 3 gauges (2 stuck on with double sided tape ) in plain view & they didn't seem to even notice or care.
  7. I saw a tradie with a speed camera detector installed in his Great Wall ute, must be driving it pretty hard considering those things take 20 seconds for 0 - 100km/h... Also I thought it was the 3rd hoon offence that you get your car crushed/sold & not 2nd?
  8. Yeah! My local Shell is on the list I found BP in general to be 5 - 10 cents more compared to others.
  9. I remember spending close to $700 on a Radeon 9700pro back when they were the fastest video card avaliable... I still have it today collecting dust somewhere, now be lucky to even get 70c for it.
  10. I'm going to check & see if the Shell near my house (that my parent go to a lot) have that stuff yet... We have more Coles fuel dockets compared to Woolworth ones.
  11. I haven't cleaned my POD for ~30,000km now...
  12. On the plus side (or negative side depending on how you look at it), we have one of the most loose P-plater laws with no car restrictions at all. I was driving my R33 GTS-T 2 weeks after I got my Ps... Cheaper, especially if you use those 4c Coles shopping dockets...
  13. Could be, also how old are your spark plugs?
  14. Every time I try to work on my car I make it perform worse... I'm forever destined to throw $$$ at someone else to service it for me.
  15. In that case, yeah go for a full aftermarket ECU solution such as Nistune or PFC.
  16. +1 To most likely flat battery, my car made that same noise when I left the parker lights one time while at uni...
  17. Nistune doesn't work with R33 ECUs (last time I read about it anyway...), most people's recommendations seem to be either get a R32 GTS-T ECU + separate controller for VCT (or what ever it is called) or a Z32 ECU & nistune that. Are you going to mod the car further in terms of power? As in different turbo (or highflow stock one) + all the supporting mods? If not, you can get away by just using a piggy back interceptor unit like the SAFC 2 to get rid of the R&R when you set the boost to 10 - 12 psi. This is what I have got in my car atm & it works fine.
  18. Saw a white R33 getting towed away with a Police car near by on Armadale road today around 7pm while I was heading back to Perth from Albany... got done under the hoon laws?
  19. I get constantly 12.5 - 13.5L/100km for normal driving (mix of city & high/freeway) Lowest I have seen is ~10L/100km & that is country driving & sitting at 110-120km for ~400kms. Car is an automatic so that probably chews more fuel compared to the manual counter parts. Might go & change the spark plugs (haven't being changed for ~35,000kms) & give the POD a clean as it is covered with shit & dirt atm...
  20. +1 to the XR6T (or older F6) for bang for the buck performance with good aftermarket parts support. Sadly most Jap car manufactures all have seem to have head to the way of Toyota at making A-B eco boxes only these days with 0 aftermarket support.
  21. Of course, but being a cheap arse Asian every time if I do go to a further away station I did the math using my car's average fuel consumption (12.5 - 13.5L/100km), the extra fuel it will use going the extra kms to that station compared to the closet one, the estimate amount of fuel I'll be putting in and the extra cost minus the difference in fuel price between the stations & overall if there is still a net saving I will go, otherwise I will go to my usual Caltex near Osborne Park. BTW, I not sure if the other states have it, but the WA government have fuel watch website where it lists all the fuel prices for today & tomorrow so I use that to get all the prices of the main servos in my area before I do the math.
  22. & the voices got nerfed bad...
  23. +1 I have used both BP98 & Vortex 98 (Shell only have up to Ron 95 in WA) & I notice f**k all difference. I drive to different servos regularly but not because I'm picking a brand but I'm trying to find the cheapest fuel (places varies around 5 - 10c/L) on that day in an attempt to squeeze out every last cent saved (in true cheap arse Asian style...)
  24. I like to own one of those semi/auto shotguns (Saiga-12 or AA12) with the 20 round drums.
