R33 Gts-t Feeling?
Mayuri Krab replied to skylinelova07's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I just drove the 07 Corolla sedan my parents bought & up till then I never released how much BETTER my car was compared to that A-B white good. It wasn't the power difference that surprised me, (to be honest I felt that the Corolla had more pull compared to my car somehow, even though it only had 100kw at the fly wheel & weights almost the same as a GTS-T ) The steering had the most difference, the Corolla doesn't have a 'steering feel' to it at all. Felt like I was playing one of those old driving games at the arcade where the plastic wheel doesn't have force feed back. It felt pretty loose no matter what speed I'm going at. -
I have a better chance of winning something in the Casino than lottery... Never won anything in lottery, the closest I got was 3 number...

If You Weren't Allowed A Nissan What Would You Drive?
Mayuri Krab replied to Tony de Wonderful's topic in WA Wasteland
If the Challenger was un-import-able & I can't drive the Skyline then I'll give up on life & just be a sheep & get a Camry. -
All the girls I know either; have no license or drive a excel, corolla or jazz. Oh wait... I forgot that I bought my car from a girl & for the 1st 6month it had a lip stick smell.

Car cover & disconnect/remove the battery. Also I read that any petrol left in the tank for extended periods of time, its RON # will go down? So don't leave a full tank in there...

Is it censored?

There is another game called Strangle Hold that I found (by accident) that utilized all avaliable cores (task manager was showing all a ~35% utilization on all 4 cores on my Q6600). If you are deciding between Duo or Quad for gaming, get a Duo & use the $ difference to up the video card IMO.

If You Weren't Allowed A Nissan What Would You Drive?
Mayuri Krab replied to Tony de Wonderful's topic in WA Wasteland
Don't all Porsches look the same? minus the hard top or soft top I need 2 cars just to make me appreciate my current car more. Lately the skyline is feeling kinda "bland" & "meh..." to drive. That is until the day b4 yesterday when I went with my parents to pick up their newly bought 07 Corolla from an government auction, I drove the car back & it instantly made me appreciate how much better the skyline was compared to that bland A-B transport. Never mind the crappy acceleration (which I already knew b4 hand from a car with only 100kw & weights almost the same as a GTS-T), the biggest difference was the "steering feel". The Corolla had none, nothing at all! Just felt like I was playing one of those really early driving arcade games where there is no force feed back from the wheel. Back to topic I want a Dodge Challenger. -

Dodge Challenger if it where available locally. Otherwise the locals: Upper price range M3, C63 AMG, F6, HSV R8 Lower price range XR6-T, Supra, Soarer -
Its like what Jeremy Clarkson says: "You buy these cars not with your head, but with your heart." If I were to buy a car with my head, then there's very little doubt that I'll end up with a Collora or Camry, like what my parents is doing for their next car.

Good thing, I have 2 accounts & I only ever use my daily one when I shop at these dodgy places. & that account only ever have a max of $100, so if they somehow take it in one hit, wouldn't be too much of a problem. EDIT: Still would piss the hell out of me though, as I'm a cheapa*se & $100 AUD = over $600 Chinese Yuan which is way more than what some of the lower class earns in a month.

Those 2 were my reactions when I saw a female in a Skyline. Happened at Uni once, while I was parking the car to attend a exam & this white R33 with dark tint also arrives, parks & a girl came out & I was like ?! Also I tend to forget the fact that I bought my car from a girl...

Safc 2 + Auto Gear Box
Mayuri Krab replied to Mayuri Krab's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Happy to report that my fuel usage went down from ~13.5l/100km down to the 11s range Its now on par with my mum's Camry but with much more P-O-W-E-R!!! <screams out in Jermy Clarkson tone> -
Meh, Camrys are better than both... I noimate the Camry being the most common car seen on the road. Toyota hit the jack pot when they realised that the majoriy of the car buying market are filled with plain & boring people who just want A-B transport. Oh & WRX's are still ulgy
-
I donno... neither will get you anything... well, not the ones that won't get you in trouble later on for underage child harressment charges... Also WRXs are ulgy.

WRGMG Mouth ulcer!!! F***en got another one, bloody things hurts! & can't eat or drink properly atm

I would like to add: "Don't touch the exhaust tip after a long drive from uni..." My finger still haven't fully recovered from the burn for like 3 days...

Still 3 points for not displaying Ps seems pretty harsh to me, I mean that rivals some speeding fines & I don't see how you are more dangerous on the road without your Ps on compared to if you are speeding. & 5 or 6 points on your Ps? You eastern people have it tough. WA still have the old 12 point system for Ps & no car resctrion! I'll be finishing off my Ps this early Nov & I have just received my free 1st year full license for being a safe & responsible driver with no traffic offences to date... The government & coppers recokens I'm a good boy

Hey guys Was wondering which air con shops you recommend to take a skyline to get its air con fixed. Preferably NOR. Yes, I know there is a workshop thread but all the shops listed there are for performance related things & there is no air con shop listed. Its not a simple re-gas, as the 1st guy I called did that already & didn't fix the problem, he then tried to replace the 2 valve things (he called them TX valves) & that didn't work neither & then his pretty much ran out of ideas. I tried another shop & ask them for possible problems & the resulting costs, & they couldn't really tell me neither & simply just resulted to the 'replace everything' solution & quoted me about $1.2k for the job. Also I didn't really want to leave my car in that shop as there were a couple of bogan dudes working there who started making stupid BOV sounds with their mouth when they saw my car. So what shops have you used to fix your air cons that you had good experience with? Thanks.

When The Anime World And Car World Collide In Japan
Mayuri Krab replied to RHDJapan's topic in Japan
I like it... I want a put a nice decal of either Nemu Kurotsuchi (from bleach) or Saber (from fate stay night) or Mokka Akashiya (from Rosairo +vampire) on my car one day I've already put anime pillows on the back seats in my car... -
I heard that they say pillar gauges are distracting but GPS does not Also for the mech guy driving without his Ps on I didn't know that you get points for not displaying Ps, thought it was just a fine. Any case, looking forward to next weeks episode, they have P plater & hoons combined in the preview!!!

NNOO!!! Ruined the suspense.

Even if you do that, I'm pretty sure media crap like TT/ACA will make up something to make everyone attending the cruise look like a hoon to the general public. They probably show a scene of the cruise then dub burn out & tire screech sound on to it & cut to a scene of Japanese guys drifting in Japan & call it here. Looking forward to today's show though. Hoons are starting to appear & this is where the show will get interesting

I used to have a leak in my right hand side tail light, followed the DIY here & resealed the lights, however after I did that, water just started to flood the indicator & reverse light area & will eventually overflow to the boot through the opening where you reach to take/replace the light bulbs for the indicator & reverse lights, there seem to be a internal crack somewhere in the light assembly. So I had to remove the whole tail light assembly again & drilled some holes on the bottom side so the water can just drain through. Now I got no more leaks So for anyone thinking of taking their tail light assembly out, you might as well drill some holes on the underside of it just in case & you can't really see the holes from the outside anyway.
