I believe you are referring to a web proxy. You go to the proxy site then type the url of the site you want to go & it will attempt to load the url through a bunch of proxy severs. The ip of the proxy sites shows up instead of the real sites ip. However most of these free proxy sites have all being black listed by the major filtering softwares so its not all that effective. I.E. these sites won't load on the computers @ uni, it will show up as being blocked as "illegal" stuff. Heres a site with some free web proxy severs you can try your luck on Link

Thats not 100% correct, the core 2 doesn't means 2 cores, as the Quad CPUs is also called Core 2 (my Q6600 has the Intel Core 2 Quad sticker) the "2" refers to the 2nd major refresh of the Intel core architecture, there was an original Intel Core Duo CPU (no 2 in the name) it was dual core & it was released in the laptop market only, it had the prefix "T" for the CPU models (my mum's laptop had one of those CPUs; a T2500 which ran @ 2Ghz).

In theory yes, but reality is that if someone hits you & they have NO insurance, more often then not they are complete d**ks or cheap-arses who will try & deny responsibility in every possible way. & if you only have 3rd Party then it will be solely up to you to try & get them to pay (whether that means bring them to court or going after them with a baseball bat, I don't know ), which is probably gonna drag on forever. To me, I see having full comp insurance as paying the insurance company to go after d**ks/cheaparses like those, saves you the trouble of going after them yourself.

I'm still using it, I just set the interface mode to classic & that way it doesn't load all the other GUI & Vuze crap, just plain old Azureus like it was back in version 2. Does uTorrent do Upnp? The main reason I'm using Aureus is the fact that the build-in Upnp works very well with my D-link router.

Agreed, but Stephen Conroy wants something done about the p2p filtering with his net filtering plan. I haven't watched any FTA TV for 3 or so years. Only TV I'm watching are Chinese SAT & my dad got a couple of Chinese TV streaming programs, all the good Chinese TV series are on there with NO ADS!!! (Also a bunch of America stuff as well, although its dubbed in Chinese) & you don't need to wait for it to finish download b4 you can watch it like BT.

My dad's looking @ the Hummer H3 as well, drove a family friend's one around once, doesn't seem that bad... acceleration is pretty horrible, but I wasn't expecting much from a chunk of metal. His buying brand new as well, since my mum can claim tax back from brand new cars only. & like Phatboy said, theres isn't much in the $60k range. The other alternative his looking at is the Toyota Prado GX or GXL diesel. EDIT: & my mum is looking at buying a BMW 335 or M3, due to the Asian + doctor thing.

Had my skyline for about just over a year now (bought it back ~ Dec 07), bought it as a stock one & I left it pretty much stock & had no problems with it other than the problems that it had when I bought it which was a broken A/C & cigarette lighter not working. & I didn't really give it any special treatments, just do the standard service every 5000km & had the major one done @ 100,000km. Oh & I wash it occasionally when I can remember. Fuel wise it seem to stay around 13 - 15L/100km but thats mainly city driving with alot of short trips & getting stuck in traffic @ peak times
