Heres mine, upgrading to a i7 system early next year Case: Antec 1200 with 7x12cm LED fans & 1x 20cm LED fan Motherboard: Gigabyte P35 DS3P rev 2.1 CPU & CPU Cooler: Intel Q6600 @ stock 2.4Ghz with Zalman 9700 (cbf to OC anymore, since all my games runs fine @ stock CPU speed) RAM: 2Gb Kingston Hyper X DDR2 ram @ 4-4-4-12 timing Monitor: 19" Samsung 940B standard LCD Graphics Card: Galaxy 512Mb 8800GTS HDD(s): 2x Western Digital 500Gbs, 1x Seagate 200Gb, 1x Samsung 1Tb, 1x 320 Maxtor external HD & 1x WD 320Gb portable HD Optical Drive(s): 1x Pioneer DVD-writer & 1x LG DVD-writer PSU: Corsair TX-650W OS Used: Windows XP Home with SP3 Peripherals: Logitech G9 mouse, Some Mitsubishi branded K/B, Logitech X-540 speakers Other stuff: Sony floppy drive (still working!!! ), Case riced with LED fans, used to have a neon with my old case, but can't fit it in properly anymore. Loving my 2TB of formated HD, thinking of getting another 1TB drive soon XD

My understanding of the new P Plater restriction laws is that they will only ban turbo, supercharged, V8 & some special V6 cars. But your standard V6 VN commo (which is what I see most people hooning around in), won't get banned. They have being on this topic for ages I believe, thank god I'm almost off my Ps

I thought all R33 GTS-Ts had the GTS25t sticker, while the GTS had the GTS25 sticker. I thought it was just some people removed them coz they like the no sticker/badge look? My 1993 series 1 R33 GTS-T has a GTS25t sticker, but the "t" peeled off...

For N/A I think you can get away from just using Ron 91 (regular), I could be wrong though... For Turbo, recommended is Ron 98 or higher, but if you drive like a granny, you can probably get away with just premium (ron 95), since my friend with a turbo 180sx uses just premium in his car & its running ok. Still I use Ron 98 for my turbo (Vortex 98 or BP Ultimate), just to be safe

Almost all "branded" mp3 requires some kind of 3rd party program to transfer the music & can't just drag & drop mp3 files in windows explorer like a regular usb key or hard drive. This is mainly done to reduce people from sharing music, ie breaking copyright bla bla bla... If you want a simple drag & drop mp3, my 1st choice would be those "generic" branded ones, I bought a super cheapo 1Gb one from JB hifi to use in my car (AUX) & its alot better than my ipod in my opinion, no more itunes. as I use winamp to play my music.

Theres the cause, running on Very High settings (which uses Direct X 10 instead of 9) will kill pretty much any single card currently available. Even on a modest resolution like yours, Crysis still needs like dual card solution or dual "single" card like 4870x2, even then there will still be times where it will lag. Thats how poorly coded it is... Also from reading whirlpool forums a while back, many people there pointed out that, have AA on crysis will also have massive drops in frame rate, the drop rate is higher than any other game. 3rd person shooter kinda like Resident evil 4, except this time you can walk/run while shooting

Really?! Any words on whether it will be on PC as well (or the Wii; which I'm guessing not, since the wii's hardware is too weak)? Saves me the trouble & $ of buying a console just for 1 game...

^^^ You'll be fine. Game is smooth on my rig, which is a Intel Q6600, 2Gb ram, G92 8800GTS. & Your CPU is fine, most games are graphics-bonded anyway (crysis included), only game I know off that is more CPU-bond than graphics is the supreme commander series; when each faction has over 200units onscreen it will start taxing most dual core CPUs. As for Crysis, its a very poorly coded game. What resolution & detail setting are you running at? If you are running in Hi-def (1920x1080) with everything on max (using DX10) or anything close to it, then its being shown even tri-SLI will lag to 15fps during certain parts of the game. Also you can download the CCC mod (I think thats what its called) for Crysis, it will tweak the config files & improve your frame rate without any noticeable decrease in graphics quality.

Depends on what kinds of games you want to play, have a look at the "exclusive" games for each console then decide. For me, so far its PS3, & its just coz I want to play Resident Evil 5. I'm a PC geek btw, & I don't own neither system, so pretty unbiased to neither system.

I think thats normal. My auto R33 does something similar. Although I have never really floored it from 1st gear, what I found was that if I was driving along at 60km/h (auto is in 3rd gear) then I floor it to over take a truck, it won't accelerate hard right away, rather it will shift down a gear to 2nd, which takes a second or so then accelerate hard. So there is that 1 sec lag or so...

You can use "Can you run it?" site (link) to give you a rough idea of how a game will run on your system. Whats your system spec?
