  1. Kinda agree with you here, the default keyboard & mouse controls kinda feels laggy, especially the mouse cursor. Got a 360 controller for my PC & its all good from there, playing in 5.1 surround is awesome I reckon 30fps is aright for a game of this kind, you only really need higher fps for 1st-person shooters.
  2. My stock GTS-T doesn't make that sound, all it does is farts...
  3. Depends on the V8 engine that I'm looking at... Otherwise its RB.
  4. What are they asking for? Realistic physics? Might check it out on a later date...
  5. Playing PC games, watching anime, movies or TV series on computer Go to friends house for lans & to grab more games, animes, movies & TV shows off them & repeat the above again... & Sleeping takes up 1/2 of my life
  6. Coz their dumbass anmial like parents forgot to wear protection when they were doing it... But seriously, sorry to hear about this.
  7. Well at least the crash wouldn't result in serious accidents... can they? It'll be like 2 cars crash into each at @ 4km/h & the car behind would be like, oh no! I'm slowly driving into the crash @ 4km/h & I don't have time to react & step on the brakes... +1 to that, I reckon I'm alot more careless when I'm driving my mum's car.
  8. But can his hard drive keep up without getting overfilled?
  9. Seriously WTF?! to both, the pictures & guy taking the pills...
  10. I would still make her pay something, if she doesn't have the $ to pay for the total cost of the spray then make her pay 1/2 or 1/3 of it. They get $490 per fortnight from center link!!! Thats like 6 days of 5hr part time work for me! Then again, I'm just very cheap when it comes to $, runs down in the family...
  11. Red alert 3 atm Also some L4D online action
  12. The main thing I'm looking forward to the new CPUs is actually the new X58 mobos. The stock Intel ones only supports Cross-Fire like usual, but the other manufacture ones like Asus have added an Nvidia chip to it in conjunction to the intel chipset to make the board compatible with both SLI & cross fire. So if you are looking for external 2 card SLI/Cross fire, you no longer need to buy a specify board for it. But then again, considering the current price of the asus ones to be over $500, not looking too smart of a purchase yet I hope AMD comes up with something soon, they are lagging way too far behind... Theres also an video on the nvidia site where they got the mythbuster guys to build them some auto painting robots one stands for the CPU other stands for the GPU & shows how each works differently. The CPU robot paints the picture 1 paint ball at a time sequentially while the GPU paints the picture all at the same time using all its paint balls.
  13. Apparently not, this was on the Chinese news years ago, they make like a couple of cent of profit with each fake egg compared to real one, as with anything in china, if it makes $, then its worth doing. Which reminds me, did anyone see that fake USB-drive from china, they opened it up, it turned out to be just a usb plug with its cable cut off & the plug glued into a USB drive case. So theres no flash memory at all! On the topic, I don't mind fake stuff like cloths. I think all my cloth are Chinese fakes, still wears fine. I look for genuine stuff for anything electrical. Fake stuff have a large market in china coz many people are poor, mainly those that comes from country side to the main cities to work, whom earn like a couple $100s Chinese dollars a month, so they can't afford real geniune stuff with their massive price tag so of course they are going for the fakes coz its cheap, simple as that.
  14. +1, dam economics! To the OP, I have constructed the following from my local store (netplus): -E8400 $227 -Gigabyte GA-EP45 DS3 motherboard $179 -4Gb Kingston Hyper X ram $90 -640Gb WD hard drive SATA 2 $89 -ATI 512Mb 4850 video card $249 -Pioneer SATA DVD-writer $32 -Antec 300 case $94 -Corsair HX620W PSU $146 Comes to $1156, which I'm pretty sure you can find cheaper if you shop around & WA in general seem to have the highest price compared to the eastern states Yep the i7 cores are monolithic (ie all the cores are bulit on the one die = true quad core) Also they have build-in memory controller (intel calls it QPI), have HT (hyper-threading) & is on a completely different socket design (skt 1366). & Intel is also planning on releasing dual & octo core versions as well. ALL GLORY to OCTO-CORE!!! Man I waited ages to say that
  15. Being that done that, my 1st car was my mum's VN, I was always angry when I'm behind the wheel of that thing seeing how it breaks down @ & requires me to restart the engine @ about every intersection when there are cars up my a*se beeping. The frustration!!! To the OP, the VL is at fault the fact that he did an hit & run already proves 50% of that
  16. Well I seem to fixed "most" of my freezes by updating my onboard sound driver, now it only freezes in time intervals of several hours where b4 it was freezing in time intervals of minutes. Other thing I noticed was that if you have FFD show filters installed, you must either remove it or add fallout3.exe to the "don't use FFD show filter for" list. Otherwise there was some massive long initial loading times, where the screen will go blank & have to wait for about 5 or so minutes b4 it loads the menu, for me at least.
  17. The $1k system from recommended by whirlpool, note prices are taken from StaticICE, so you may have to add a bit more if you are all buying from your local shops. Have a look at their other PC suggestions here $1000 System: CPU: Intel E7200 S775 $149 Motherboard: Gigabyte P35-DS3 $99 RAM: 2GB G.Skill DDR2-800 $48 HDD: Western Digital 400GB 16MB SATAII $70 GPU: 512MB ECS 9600GT $139 Case & PSU: Cooler Master Elite RC-331 (w/ 350W PSU) $69 Optical Drive: ASUS 20x BLT-2014 Lightscribe SATA $33 Monitor: 22" Samsung 2253LW $275 Speakers: Logitech X-540 5.1 $80 K/B & Mouse: Logitech Cordless Desktop LX310 $58 But if you can stretch your budget another $250ish I would go for this one, the E8400/8500 are the best bang for the buck CPU atm. $1250 System: CPU: Intel E8400 S775 $211 Motherboard: MSI P43 Neo-F $102 RAM: 2 x 2GB DDR2-800 $76 HDD: Samsung 640GB 16MB SATAII $89 GPU: 512MB RAEDON HD4850 $195 Case: Antec Three Hundred $83 PSU: Corsair VX-450 $92 Optical Drive: Samsung 20x SATA $25 Monitor: 22" Samsung 2233BW $249 Speakers: Creative Gigaworks T20 2.0 $66 K/B: Logitech Corded Wave $44.20 Mouse: Logitech MX 518 $33 Also do you just need the box or the complete stuff with like monitors, kbs, mouse & speakers?
  18. Is Tuart Hill considered nor or sor? I don't know my geography, aways failed that subject in high school.
  19. The only ways they can stop people crashing is if they were to limit the speed of all cars to like human walking speed of 4km/h.
  20. + 1 Also since most (supposedly) console only games makes their way to PCs anyway.
  21. Just got these for my PC to chew on: -Red alert 3 -Dead space -Fallout 3 Dam fallout 3 is a big disappointment, not the game, but the bugs upon bugs & upon bugs that causes it to freeze up about every 2 seconds did some search on the net & it appears I'm not the only one who's having these annoy crashes all the time. Also preloaded Left 4 Dead on Steam, played the demo version on my friend's machine at a lan & dam it was f**ken awsome, finally someone made a FPS version of resident evil But dam steam won't let me play the full version until its release date
  22. Got a fallout 3 today for PC. Having random freezes everywhere after the 1st bit when you leave 101. This is like oblivion all over again, which needed like 6 month later with patches after patches & after patches to bring the game up to "playable" standards without crashing like every 2 seconds. While I'm waiting for that to happen, I'll just play RA3 & Dead space in the mean time.
