Well my account is getting transfered to SEA as I type. I played a couple of games before hand & was getting <100ms (60 - 90ms) in general, that kind of ping is good enough to play even FPS for me =D

I bought an HP 13" Ultra book & as far as I can see it gets similar battery life (~5-8 hours per charge), has SSD + i5 & I paid just $610 for a display model (even brand new they are ~$900) compared to $1k+ Apple want to charge for their ultra books & gimme windows 7 over that Apple pos OS anyday.

Now to bring back one of those old brick phones to the test bench... Would shit on both.

I reckon I should have gotten up early during Iphone 5 launch day, get at the front of the line & then sell my spot to some mindless isheep for $500-$700...

The SEA server transfer is up again... Anyone moving over? I heard from WP forum that most people there got a ping of ~150 - 180ms compared to 250 - 330ms for NA server.

Get TBE 1st before FMIC, & as for FMIC I would just get the just jap black return flow one as it bolts using the stock pipe locations without having to cut holes & its stealthy... But if you are not going to run more boost than stock, I wouldn't bother with a FMIC at this stage.

Ok where is it? All the tech (even an official apple forum) I asked said it doesn't have it & u need to use 3rd party app, but most don't work well the best option is just to get ur service provider to block it for you.

I got my dad to drive me in one of his work's rusty smokey diesel truck at my formal. Pulled more heads than everyone else all in their linmos... I'm always up for stuff when money is involved, however unless you like being in a AUTO skyline (no street cred @ your local KFC drive through) with faded/peeling paint & a big CCCP USSR symbol...

With regards to the current poliscan laser mobile cameras, do they get your speed 1st futher down the road & then wait for you to drive closer before taking your photo or is your speed taken around the same time (well slightly before) when the photo was taken. Looking at some of my very old speeding fines, the photo seem to be taken pretty close to the actual camera, rough guess seem to be ~10m or less. Those fixed laser cameras in the fixed box on the freeway gives the most warning when I'm driving towards them, the one near south tce exit everytime I come back from Curtin heading towards city direction would give me some 10 - 15 seconds of warning. While normally the detection range appears to be ~100m - 120m which is about 4 or so seconds.

I've been getting overtaken by granddads in their white Camrys everytime it rain for the past 3 years, my car have Maxxis MA-V1s (came with my cheap china copy wheels) & when taking off from the lights I have to use <20% throttle (last time the back wheels lost traction from taking off I checked my SAFC2 controller & it read 23% throttle peak) otherwise I will get wheel spin every time.

Also I think I need to re do the thermal paste on my old Q6600 system (now used as media PC) as dam temperature is always high into the 60s while idling...

Just a heads up, the South Tce camera is up & running again. & it looks like they are putting a camera near heading south just after Erindale Road.

Yes, but that will also mean you will forever be stuck behind arsehats who drive 10 - 15 under but then speeds up to limit as soon as you are overtaking. Also it looks like the Camera near South Tce on the freeway has being turn off for the past week or so, drove around there last week 3 times on different days & got no laser reading. EDIT: unoffical statstic: it appears every 1 out of 10 tradie + guys in suits driving the luxury version of HSV/FPV has one in their car...

Finally had enough & bined the IS7... With the new TDs & Meds running around, dam shit feels like a crap old IS-8 with no armor. Too bad it was my favourite heavy of all time before the patch... & went to the top of the most hated list right after. Will bin the IS 4 soon too, that thing has always felt crap since the move to T10.
