passin ewe replied to lteefaql's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
Another pic from behind, I love it from behind, do you? This car was made for Kuwait my good buddy friend. just $12 g and this baby is yours. You'll be the envy of the town when you cruise in with that throbbin 8. And from experience, the woman go ape, bananas, you need to know this feeling. Buy this baby. This is on offer to anybody by the way, but price is ridiculous, oh,a ah , sorry I meant firm! -
Skyline 240K Skyline C210
passin ewe replied to lteefaql's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
Hey Itee. You can have mine for $12000.00 ASD, or without the V8 I'll make it $ 10,000.00. You so lucky I'm nice guy. Reply if interested -
Took the Datto down the 1/4 mile recently, and did a 14.4 @ 98mph. I had gone there hoping to do a 14 something so i was very happy with this out come. The 308 is a stock bottom end with small cam and adjustable rollers and I only had my 14x6.5 rims which were a let down with wheel spin. When I had the L28/ 3.0L with triple 45 webers, best I did was 15.8. Eventually this motor will be tossed and will make way for either a 355ci or a very warm 308. Q. Whatever happened to the red 318 hemi powered 240K convertable?

Yeah I also miss having the 16x8's on and they'll return once the rear camber kit goes in. I do find the steering 30% lighter tho with the 14x6.5's but losing the tone in my arms with the lighter reps LOL. Personally I like it white all over, but it may change with a possible black Skyline decal down each side.

Just repainted my bolt on flares and attached air dam. Here's a couple of pics. I've also got rid of the grandpa seats in the front and put in some that were out of a Mitsi FTO.

Thanks for the replies, I'll leave my 14's on for a while until I decide what to do. I"ll have a chat to a prefabricator I know and see what he suggests. Regards and thanks. Ricky

I'm getting bad wear on the inside rear tyres. ( 16x8) Has anyone attempted to put camber on the rear of a C210 and if so where did you obtain parts for this and was it successful. K-MAC? do a kit for $380.

http://www.kameariengineworks.co.jp/ I bought my fenders and air dam from here. Need to translate it and then go into catalogue. My dam was $420 delivered to my door and the fenders from memory were about $500. If interested I'll give you Shigeo Mori's email, he is good to deal with but you'll have to wait a wee while for the parts. About 5 weeks as they are made to order but quality and fittment is spot on. -
Need help. Is the ignition relay behind the fuse box in the engine bay and if so which one is it, or is it under dash. I have zero poer to anything turning key on, however with the key on and a wire run from acc fuse holder across to ignition fuse I get everything on and the car will start. So I'm thinking relay not working, Your thoughts and knowlege needed to solve please.

C210 Parts Coupe And Sedan
passin ewe replied to hcg210's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
Hi Mario. would you have drivers and passengers large side windows or a mirror ( rear view) Regards Ricky -
Titanic tickets for me too, as that's about the only chance I've got of something going down on me. As for RB 30, if there was a " LIKE" button I'd have worn it out. These really are good motors. I saw one in a LJ 2 door tori at the drags, it did 10. something. Probably running 30psi, but still, bloody quick

Classics Chat Thread
passin ewe replied to V8skylineMAN's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
hey Socs, soon i'll create my own FB account as my wife ain't so keen on the posts not so related to her. Anyway, I've been a bit quiet with my posting probably because for a while the C210 scene died off, and I haven't been doing much with mine although tomorrow I'm doing a dummy fit of the air dam. I'll take a pic and post it up. As for thread names, how about or along the lines of " CHILDREN OF THE SUN" dat-sun did mean son of dat or SUN WORSHIP. Just puttin it out there. I really hope that one day many C210's will make it to these Skyline events. That's the only thing that's going to motivate me to cross the wasteland, going to a show to see multiple R32-R35's don't really excite me, I want too hear that many old school are going to make the pilgramage. It's satisfying to know that two more coupes are on the prowl and it will be good to see your coupe progress Socs, shame yours is so pristine Jason, could you possibly take it out and loose it on a gravel road just so we can see and hear about the rebuild. Talk soon, chow Christmas is about the kids and putting up with your in laws for a day. Wish i was a kid on that day. -
The c210 dry spell has been broken in a big way, two coupes raining down on us. Let me get wet ! Look forward to seeing pages of 210 pics, I "ll post one of mine once i get the front air dam fitted, that arrived from japan about two weeks ago.
-
Oh to own a Laurel, in my eyes they have it all. Built by Japan and moulded on American muscle, although that would come after a C10, they are still the pick for me.
-
Socrates, I know of a really good L series builder here in Perth. Same person who used to tune my webers.

I run 16x8 -4 and flares were necessary

In Sept I'll find out D, as that's when our Woopass Wednesday starts again. My 308 isn't stock, it does have heavily modded L34 heads, yella terra rollers, quality manifold, a decent cam and a 650 double pumper. The reason I think It'll do 14's is that I've had a few runs against 5.7's and it hangs in there. Now I believe a stock 5.7 is good for 14 something over the quarter so this is my bases. Anyway I'll post up my time good or bad once I've run it. In the next day or two I'll put up another Utube post so you can hear what it sounds like now.
