  1. Does the rear seat of a 4door fit the coupe( basically are they the same)?
  2. 4 Door, black interior, 5 speed apparently runs well. $400 If enough interest for parts, may drive the 2 hours required and purchase
  3. Yeah, that was an idea, things change sometimes. Who knows, I might put a VH45 in or maybe a hmmmm it's nice to dream. At least the 9" is coming
  4. Thanks Drew for hooking me up with the extortionist (joke), I now have a R200 LSD on it's way to me Yahoo!! I could also be buying a turbo supra box and housing tonight to put away for the V8 conversion ( it's over there in the distance) but it's getting closer. Got to sell my motor, $2500 bloody bargain. Interested anyone?
  5. Forgotten about the ebay now as Drew is helping me out with a LSD. I don't want the hassle of modifying, just wanting to bolt straight up.
  6. Hey all, does anyone know for sure if the WRX STI 3.9 R180 LSD is the same as the C210 R180 open center, meaning a straight bolt up. There is one on ebay for $1000 and I'm wanting to buy one real soon. If not what is the next option ( easiest). Cheers
  7. Hi Drew, The hose on the right( crank breather hose) on my L28 is just attached to the inside guard with a small breather/filter on the end. It's been assembled this way in both cars and is fine. On my rocker cover I also have a small breather filter. Regarding setting up of the carbs, if they were webers I could give you heaps of advice. You can see the filter just behind the first weber K&N fiter. If the linkage set up is similar to mine, you wind the screw on the control arms right in, then turn in each one 1/4 0f a turn. These must be set very closely. I then screw in the idle mixture screw( clockwise and gently) to the fully closed position. Then open them out 1and 1/2 turns. This normally gets me started. Then I start with the left side carb on each webere and wind it in clockwise till it runs rough, then back to the right to where it picks up revs and then find the happy medium. You can feel the change with each adjustment. This is only a guide to getting it running in a driveable state. I also get it checked with the balancing tool. Infact last time I was only a smidge out, the guy reckoned I had done a pretty good job. Don't know how similar your carbs are so this may be of no help. Good luck. Ricky
  8. Here's how to get rid of 50kg straight up, sell me the LSD, and I won't call you Australias Biggest Loser even tho you've got anther 50 to go.
  9. Have you pulled the centre out of the horn, if it is a centre style one? Sounds(beeep) he he like a wire shorting under the button, pushy thingy, then again I could be as cluey as the other auto spaarky,DR Josh. By the way Josh, that diff! Keh

  11. Is your fuel delivery system the same as when it was in the Z?
  12. Thanks Harvo, just been into that site and sent them an email. Have to wait till Monday now.

  14. Forgot to mention that these strips suit 200B, 180B and 240K's
  15. I'm after the strips that go between these 2 windows. Rare Spares have none and won't get them in unless 20 are ordered. Any ideas?
  16. Now must get rid of the wheel barrow wheels and do the gaurds some justice
  17. Thanks guys, yeah i am so stoked to have them on finally. The front ones are on now , so I'll take a pic tomorrow and post.
  18. Well 2 of them are and other 2 will be on tonight. Arches cut and welded, mate did a top job. Must now find some 16x8 deep dish
  19. mmmm 300 rwkw you say out of an L28. Please exlpain, in detail as I'd like to know how without putting the LD28 in and so forth. Are we talking big PSI turbo or just a performance built carburettored L28. Would seriously like to knpw the formula for this kind of HP.
  20. Would love to come but saving it up for Skylines 2010. My car and I will be on the train. Hoping you all have the same intentions on that meet.
  21. Hi Kev, hope you get some pics up of this super clean machine. Was mighty impressed with your car and believe me eveyone into the classics will enjoy seeing the clean, green, pritsine machine. Big thumbs up one this one. After you left I was thinking i should've taken a snap or 20. Anyway hope you 'll do it and tell some back ground info. Cheers Rick. My mates looking into the cooktops. Speak soon.
  22. Is that L28 also a turbo Nigel?
  23. So it seems that in the mid 13's is about what you'd get from a mildly tampered RB25DET. That's not so bad. My current motor is L28 out of 280z and they are heavy. If anyone should hear of a decent motor and accessories as in a full front and manual box, cut I'd be happy to hear about it. Enclosed is pic of my motor at present. So a R33 weighs 1370 or 1490kg ?
  24. I'm strongly sonsidering putting an RB25 Det into my Datsun Syyline. What I want to know is what 1/4 mile times do you do in a stock or semi stock ( maybe turbo upgrade) skyline with RB25DET. Also what is the kerb weight of your car, mine being 1260 kg I'm trying to get an idea of power to weight ratio. Cheers
  25. Mag86 I hear what your saying , but to get 300rwkw you'd be talking 3.1 stroker using the LD28 crank probably and they alone are fairly big bucks along with all the other performance parts for L series.I should have got in at the right time and bought up big from the states..I've thought about turbo L28 but again lots of changes to my motor ie: lowering compression, maybe change heads. I've seen some get up and go ones on YOU TUBE. What i do like about the RB 25 changeover is the power and driveability. I could drive this to work on a daily basis, meaning one less car to pay out for yearly. Bottom line is if I don't get an offer of at least $3000 I won't sell it. Instead I'll spend money and get the much needed LSD. I forgot to mention the motor will come with 2 x5 speed boxes. The one in the car and a spare.
