I've decide to go big HP, so out with the current and in with the new. I'm putting a RB 25det into my C210 coupe, so now I'm selling my L28. This was a crate motor from Nismo about 10 years ago. It was freshened about 20,000 ks ago and I have paper work . From Nismo it came with: The motor is N42 on N42 Bored to 3.0L East bear triple weber inlet manifold ( japanese) East bear tuned length extractors " " " Triple 45 webers made in Italy ( matching set DCOE) Motor is in great condition and has good performance. If need be I can put you in touch with the original owner /importer. It's a shame most of you on this site are out of W.A but anyone local and interested is welcome to test at your convenience. Looking for about $3200

Dan, would you be willing to pay $10 plus postage? I'll get price on postage before I send. The guy who owns these cars has bugger all money. He lives with his dad and bros in a sh#$t hole of a house. He works full time at a car wash/ vaccum joint and it does'nt pay him alot. This is where I met him, I drove into the car wash with my then yellow coupe and he thought it was his. It just seemed to coincedental from his point of view that another coupe looking almost identical could exist. I know it may sound like a sob story, but another fact to this story is he pays rego on two of these cars each year($900)and has never held a license and never driven any of these cars. ( yep! what a waste). But like the rest of us , he loves these cars and it started with his dad owning one and since then he's done what a lot of us have done, bought extra cars, parts and things we really don't need. There, finished.

Know the feeling, we're thinking about selling and buying bigger block/house. I want a kick arse shed, room for the car, pool table, sofas, and bourbon fridge with tele wall mounted to watch the "MIGHTY WEST COAST EAGLES" kick aaaaarrrsssseee or maybe kick their drug addictions "who said that?. Message sent to Steve. Had a long think about this offset business last night, and dsh4 is about on the money. Looked in my C210 service manual last night and found that the offset is + 25, but that's for a 5' rim. If I'm going 8" or even 9" the offset is definately going to have to swing back into negative by a long way. Think it's time too seek professional help as I don't want to stuff this up.

With each new reply I'm finding more and more rims and avenues. Cheers. Don't spose anyones seen some Indy style rims, the ones with hole instead of spokes, I do like this style. Thanks for the encouraging responses guys, as i said in my opening thread I'm not so keen on the Wantanabe look. I've seen so many other mags on C210's all in Japan of course, so there must be a heap of different designs available. Probably just not over here.

Thanks for the info, my rear guards will be cut out shortly and flared fenders attached so no problem with fitting 8" rims. So 0 offset for front and back should be ok. Looked at ae86 tonight and there does appear to be a few rims like what I'm after selling there. Again thanks Ricky, Dsh4, are those Wantanabes? they don't look so bad. Don't suppose you post items from there do you?

Does anyone know of a company here in Aus that sells 4 stud deep dish, looking for 15x8 and I guess a 0 offset. Even a supplier in Japan that does'nt involve trying to decrypt pages of Japanese. Or if you've got some tucked away that your willing to part with would be even better. I don't want Wantanabes, but will consider other spoked items. I've looked at import monster and not much in there, quite like some of the hayshiracing mags but again it's that whole Japanese decrypting that is a Head F #@K. I'd also like a simple Y or N to the C210 being a 0 offset. Cheers

I'm with you on that one Drew. I also had SU's ( shitty upstarts). 3 x I had to take them back to a guy who was supposed to be a SU guru. I'd drive it for 15 min and the plugs would foul. My webers on the other hand are beauuuutiful and I'm not afraid to have a go at tuning them either." Go the webers". Sorry to hear your having these ongoing dramas, if it makes you feel any better I also wasted about $1300 on my SU set up. Sold them for $250 with manifold, good ridence. Ricky Don't mean to offend those of you who do have good set ups, I'm sure there's plenty of good ones.

Got offered a DR 30 R200 LSD today, $1200. So can someone tell me the specs of this item? Are they a longnose or short nose? Are they IRS like my R180? What ratio could I expect? and would it be a hassle changing over as I'm really wanting to just plain swap it over?

Drew, how compatible is the diff with the C210 R180 and any idea what ratio? I'm at the point where I want an LSD but there is no cheap way out. I want 3.9 and lower. If you know of anything going let me know. Cheers Rick

Ahh, good pics thanks Andrew, I'll save them to my pics. I now have a welder to do my job. It's my wifes cousin and it's costing me $250 which he's going to use to buy a gas mig, as he's been wanting one. Also looked at some 16x8 wantannabe look alikes, $330 each and Dunlop 235x 55 @ $225 each. May as well go big if I've got the room.

Given up on the idea of trying to fibreglass. It's cut or nothing, so now I need to find a welder, which i should be able to do through work. 240k Convertible, How do these arches compare to yours?
