Complete power steering set up, in very good condition. No leaks. Easy change over Electric Fuel pump, appears to be factory I guess. It's in a harness that includes a fuel filter holder. Works well

Your probably right Drew, i wonder if A9X Torana ones will fit. It's something i've always wanted to do ( flared gaurds). You were asking about the bumper wrap arounds, looks to me like the front and rear are the same. if this is the case I have a set your welcome to if you pay/reinberse for the shipping -

Can you tell me where to buy the rear rubber wing and overfenders and what price to expect, thanks Ricky -
Yea lookin forward to having it back again, though It'll be while before it goes in as it needs a good clean up and paint/detail.I also get the electric fuel pump and the engine stand which will make the job a whole lot easier. Whoever buys my 260z will be getting a bargain, the carbies alone are worth 450-500 and they're in tip top condition. Thanks Ricky

sorry. must be the lingo. Iwas referring to the added wheel arches on the guard (flared wheel arches) and the the black thing on your trunk or boot that creates down force on the rear of the car. Hope this simplifies what I'm talking about. Ricky -

Ain't that a sight of inspiration, I just looked out the window at my decaying, faded 2 door and saw a totally different car. Yes it has the potential to look like that, i just need to throw another 10 grand at it. Anyway, mate that is one sweeeet lookin skyline, I'm about to purchase my old 280z motor and triple webers, but I think I'll take my time and detail my motor before installation. There's two items I'm keen to know about and that's the bolt on gaurds and the trunk/boot dam.Are they off another car or manufactured to suit the c210? Cheers Ricky -

C210 Suspension Upgrade And Donor Car
passin ewe posted a topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
HI, wondering if anybody knows what type/brand of shockies and springs can be used to upgrade the 210. I want to lower the front a little, Part #'s would be good if possible. I currently have a 4 Door donor car that I'm using to change my auto to manwell, The inside is fully gutted and many exterior parts I'm keeping, There's not even a dash, This car is off to the crusher soon, so if you need something small like trim or a door email me [email protected] -
Runs really nice, but it's in W.A

What identification will the C210 gearbox have. Will it have L24 stamped on it or some lettering?

Drew, spoke to the young lady at the house tonight, her boyfriend was given it but has sold it to a mate who's turning it into a rally car. She's going to get him to ring me regarding the bumper. Hopefully he don't need bumpers for what he's doing. -

Thanks guys and Mag 86 I believe your right. The good news is I'm picking up a 280zx dizzy on sat morn, rushing it to the mechanic who i hope is going to have it running same day. Thanks for the effort on the pics Drew, and guess what I saw just around the corner in someones back yard? a 210 4 door. I knocked but nobody home so I slipped down the side to see if it was man or auto.Turns out to be man but fully gutted inside. I'll go back tomorrow and ask what's happening with it. I'd really like to manualise my coupe and grab the bumpers. Ill let you know the story. -
Me and my old skool Datsun Skyline will be struggling to get there unless i can find a 280zx dizzy in a real hurry. Anybody know of a 280zx lying around. My points system has shit itself and ireally really wanna go on this cruise. Even a loan dizzy would be appreciated at the moment. Heeeeelppppp. And I've just fitted my hot plate tail lights, and they look flash as. If you can help email me [email protected] Cheers

need to know urgently. is the L20et dizzy going to work the same as the 280zx dizzy, you know being electronic. I've been told I need a stand alone dizzy, and perhaps the L20et may be overridden by the computer. Make any sense to anyone ? need your take on this asap. Car no go, petronix module (ignitor shit itself and I really wanna go on the cruise on Sat night.

Just a suggestion, what about the Repco car park on Mandurah Tce or Harvey Norms across the road. Both have big car parks.

Does my C210 skyline with recent upgrade to 260z and 2"" S.Us qualify, it is an import after all and I'm in Mandurah. Please please let me go!

Vrrrrooooommmmm, It's alive and venting straight out the extractors. What a sweet sound of life. No electric pump, no priming the lines which have been dry for months and the motor had been sitting for about 12 months. A slight adjustment on the timing, a few sharp responsive revs from those S.Us and I was finding it hard to wipe the grin off my face.I still haven't driven it yet and when I do it'll only be around the corner to the exhaust shop, but at least the anticipation is over. Shit I'm grinning again and my hearts pounding, oooops just thought about all the panel work I'm in for, grins gone followed by thoughts of countless hours of sanding, sanding and more f'''king sanding.Oh well I might as well go and finish sanding the front grill. Good fun eh?

Nick, from personal experience I got my apprenticeship by door knocking. I walked into places and asked to see the person in charge. Seeing people face to face and letting them know your keen can be a great personal selling point. I had a few documents incase they were interested, photo copies that I could leave with them ( as a reminder). Be well rehearsed so if they ask about what you've done and what your looking for you can answer sharply and confidently. Openings are always out there it's matter of seeking them out and not waiting or hoping they'll come to you. It worked for me on several occasions. Good luck. I had many years in Kalgoorlie, if up north is similar it's a good idea to have tickets even if it's HR, fork but definately elevated work platform if your looking at TA work. Dogman also worth doing. It can be expensive gaining these tickets but you can claim some back on tax and you'll recoupe this in no time earning them big bucks up north.

Thanks D, Ive sent them an email asking what volume these pump. I spoke to a European car mechanic who deals mostly with jags and he reckons I'd be pushing it using more than 3.5 psi on my S.U's. So you see everyones got different opinions. I found a Facet 3.0 - 4.0 psi 120L per hour today at my local Repco for $100. If injectorcarb email me back with similar volume I'll purchase this pump.

Hey Drew. been to see how my cars gettin on, basically it's not. They haven't started on it yet, promises promises. To top it off he's asking where the electric fuel pump and reg are? I informed him that I wanted to try without first, believing the machanical will suffice. He doesn't agree. In case he's right what elec pump are you running and how many gph does it pump. I was looking at a Facet 2-4.5 psi and it pumps 30 gph which the mechanic thinks is'nt enough. He's talking holley blue, 90 gph wtf. It aint a dragster.Your thoughts will be valued being as your running the same set up. Then I can tell him that I know someone....rah rah.... Do you ever have starvation probs when giving it some and some more? Ricky. I tried to put some pics up but again failed.
