  2. Gordie, I'd love a chrome bumper, but have seen the price for one on Monster imports? they're asking $2000 +. eventually I may soda blast my one and get it chromed. I'll put it on my to be done list(money pit list) more like it.

  4. I fully agree, and my mate has offered to recut and weld for me. Is it really that noticeable? As for the rear, again I agree and was going to do something about it but won't do so until the other lights are on. I may even be changing colour, Blood Orange has been appealing to me lately, so this could also happen.
  5. Forgot to mention sizes. Rear are 16x8 -4 with 245/45/16, front will be 16x8 0 offset, probably 225/50/16 or 205/50/16
  6. Finally purchased a new camera, so here's a few pics of new tyres and rims but only on the back so far. Still looking for front tyres to suit ( similar tread pattern). Will also take some pics of the diff change out real soon.

  8. Is there any legality issues with it being a clear lense, it must be harder to see that you're indicating if your the car behind.
  9. So just to summarise, brakes, indicators and reverse lights are all in the one unit, just amatter of sorting the wiring if it's not a clip together job.
  10. So I take it these aren't a straight clip together wire up like the ones I have now.Did you connect yours up and did you have the Aussie choc block lights before?

  12. Also, can someone tell me if these have reverse lights in them or did this model have them in the bumper. Currently my ones have the small rectangle ones fitted alongside the cooktops.

  15. If I could'nt get them for $450 plus freight to W.A, I don't like your chances of $500 and posted to U.K. I really think D-Limo needs to clarify what he wants exactly and if they are DEFINATELY for sale.

  17. OK, I offered 450 plus freight which to W.A would be about 80-$100, so in total that would be about $550. If these are'nt sold I'm offering $470 plus the cost to freight to W.A.

  21. [i couldn't respond straight away to your remarks, I had to go away and deal with my ignorance. I guess whenever i go to the drags, I'm not thinking ,gee that car must be making some torque. It's more like, "f@#@k thats got some HP, so in this small vaccum of a mind I have, it's always HP that seems important. I did a run a while back over the quarter, mind you I had skinny tyres and one wheel spinning to much and it was my 1st time, also no rev counter. I posted a 15.8 and will be back soon armed with bigger tyres and a LSD, hoping to drop another second. I'd really like to make high 13's. I doubt I'll get there with the current set up unless I spend a few big bucks. The current cam is a "c" stamped Nismo competition cam, but I'm thinking this may need to be changed or go turbo?
  22. Hi Nebuckernezzer, I do believe this is going to last a while now that it's in. Took it out the other day and did a bit of clutch dumping, the LSD worked really well with both wheels biting down really well. Now I want to increase HP, but still don't know which avenue to persue. Lately I've been thinking about turbo on my L28/3.0L as there is a L24 turbo with inter cooler(in a HR30) for sale around my way. But would it put out more power than my triple 45's? guesss that comes down to amount of boost. I'd have to lower my comp ratio also I reckon.
  23. Motor Improvements. That's a name I remember, they built my 351 Clevo for my XW when I lived on Dandenong road at the top end of Pahran. They did a really good job. Too bad someone else got to enjoy it more than me after it was stolen on the Gold Coast.
  24. What price would you put on a Mr30 82, 4 door L24 turbo with intercooler and 5 speed. In good condition. Does anyone own one and how do these perform.
