Hey All, As said in the title, I'm looking for a silvertop ECCS rb20det, preferably with gearbox. ECU is not needed. Looking mainly for engines still in cars which are being upgraded to rb25, etc Would like to be able to do a comp test and give it a proper look over while its running. Cheers, Will

not that i'm aware of. I bought them awhile ago in the hopes to put them in my RB20 but have since blown the turbo and decided to put in a new engine. not sure of the costs getting them checked out by a cam doctor to confirm specifications Tomei lists the N1s cam specs as the same as R34.. so I'm not sure how much that'd help anyways.. If anyone knows a way to check i'd be more then happy to. But when I bought them they were sold as R34 Nur Spec cams.

how much power did it make when it was last tuned? I've already got a modified rb20 sump from my current engine ready to go so this suits me pretty well I'm guessing it'll mate up to a RWD gearbox just fine? are there any differences in the GTS4 version? thanks if you want, email me on [email protected] I would've just emailed you but didnt see an address anywhere!

hmmm, true.. they may have something in there to prevent people linking directly to the FAQs just got to www.gamefaqs.com and do a search for tokyo extreme racing select it from the list, choose FAQs and 'Car List' its huge.. even has the ol prince skyline ;-)

if you live in melbourne you can pickup a copy of wangan midnight for PS2 at the store 'Initial D' on russel st you'll need a chipped PS2 and unless you understand japanese the story mode might be a bit of a waste.. but still.. very cool game apparently the arcade machine was a big success in the states its actually based on a manga which is based on an old live action TV series hehe

personally I had a great time playing the game.. there's a sequel coming out soon (may be out overseas already?) but understandably it doesnt even have half the cars available.. for an idea of just how many cars are in this game.... http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/dreamcast/f..._2_car_list.txt can't go wrong with a tricked up autech stagea ;-) but yeah, mad game.. piles and piles of options for modifications.. the driving engine isn't the best.. not very realistic and the graphics are nowhere near up to date.. but its still a lot of fun.. and seriously, don't expect it to be short.. this game is stupidly long.. mostly because of the 'conditions' you have to meet to race certain people

so the verdict seems to be no good? *sigh* anyone wanna buy some brand new Nur spec GTR cams? lol..

Eek! Interested to hear how the R34 cam testing goes SK. I've just bought a set of cams with the intent of fitting them to a future engine.. (current RB20 isn't feeling too good, lol) Good luck with it!

Hey All, Sorry to bump this thread up again but I've just purchased some R34 Nur spec gtr cams at a very very good price. I'm putting them aside for my new RB20 when I replace my current somewhat tired one. Was just wondering if anyone knew of differences between the various gtr cams and if possible what differences I might find with the N1 cams. I did a couple searches on the forums for gtr cam differences but couldn't find anything apart from a slight mention earlier in this thread. Thanks for your help
