Are there any advantages in suspension tuning in a Gtr over Gts for track work if using same brand componantry ? and can you achieve the same balance when stressing and wedging the chassis ????

I;ts not just the fumes but should be water tight, in the case of a roll over or tail end hit to contain fuel spillage, last year my race car failed scrutineering at qld raceway as i had gaps around the dry sump lines guess what lots of silastic fixed in 15 min.

my car has no carbon just stripped out with roll cage and approx 520 hp at the rear end weight with no driver 1380 kg and no i have not seen a gtst circuit car yet that was faster than a gtr,

Mate i think your on the money as my gtst at QR sprint track runs 56.32 The gaint gtr at time attack runs 53.8 mind you i only ran one lap and blew an engine.

Chris there must be a method of measurement EG when a nissan factory test pilot tests new cars under controlled conditions !

Can anyone with on track experience tell me how much difference should there be between a Gtr and rear wheel drive skyline having same HP , suspension setup,tyre compounds ect ect !!!! and driver style and experience, say on a time attack senario is it approx 2 secounds ????

Thermal Wrapping Stainless Manifold?

i found the exhaust temps are directly related to H P and air fuel ratios on my race car the first dump pipe burnt the ceramic coating off in a couple of race meetings, i,ve given up on thermal wrap ect!! at present my steampipe manifold and 4 inch dump pipe is plain jane its easier to fit bonnet vents and lift rear of bonnet. heat -

It would be a good idea to run a compression test b4 you tune it;l be an indicator how healthy your engine is . if comp is low you may consider a low boost tune to keep it safe in the short term.
