  1. Lovely car mate!!!
  2. Try grab one side with bench grip or something. That would be easier. When I was doing mine I didn't have the bench grip so I pulled the whole thing out with the help of my brother hold the steering rack on the ground, use a big shifter and him holding the shifter in place, and kick the shifter really hard . The impact would make it easier to crack. Hope this helps, where about are you in SE ?

    Demerit Points

Are you certain???? I am not quite but a mate of mine he's holding a Chinese license and he's got done for talking on the phone and the officer reckon he's got 3 points taken out. Can any one please confirm this?
  4. Buy GTR, Just keep searching until you've found the right one, buy one with sensible mods with quality parts.
  5. Your skyline is like any other car on the road mate, just fix it ! Brake and suspension is not something major. every car have to get that fix during it's lifetime.
  6. I've been working in a few workshops and some places I've seen other mechanics does not treat customer's car well enough (trashing, joyride, revving for the sake of it). I won't do that kind of thing to my car, I'm sure any other customer does not want that to happen to their car either.
  7. Maybe it's better to pay more and get TE37 !!
  8. Check the thermostat before assume it's the head gasket. Blown head gasket will cause missfiring as well, so if the car does not miss fire then might not be blown head gasket. Make sure that the thermostat does not stuck in close position, because that will stop coolant from the engine block get to the radiator and will cause over heat.
  9. Probably belt tension, it comes and go after you rev it up isn't it? too loose or too tight will make noise. Keep in mind that belts do stretch over time and when they do, sometimes they make that kind of noise.

No I think I went strait to Coles opposite the train station to get some drinks but they were closed ! I remember on Saturday that road was close when you turn right under the train line so I didn't go that way. Because of the horse race I think. Spotted Wanzi at the car wash corner of centre rd and warrigal rd !

  13. I think you were the one that I saw got pulled over by a popo on Stud Rd just before the shopping centre when you were still driving NA R33??? That was a while ago as well. I get nervous when I drive around there as well.
  14. Thinner oil is better for turbo(s) as they are less likely to dried up and clog up inside the turbo and associated hose that running inside and out from turbo(s). so yeah I use Mobil 1 fully synthetic. Won't cost as much as Motul 300V.
  15. I know this boy, I'll teach him how to post pictures next time. Apology on his behalf..........
  16. Another Skyline !!! on the serious bit, maybe 200SX or something similar with SR20, they go alright and lighter than Skyline.
  17. Hello William

    Pizza Meet

Nice to see you guys there although didn't talk much to many of you guys except Jamie hopefully next meet up will have more time to have a chat.
  21. I hope the car and the driver are still in one piece
  22. By the way try not to get zap by the coil pack or lead, it hurts !!!!!!!
  23. depends on what timing light you get, the crap one usually can only pick up the signal from HT lead which you don't have in RB25 so what I normally do if I have to use bottom of the range timing light, I undo the No.1 coil pack with 8mm socket which is the first one you see when you open the bonnet. then connect the spark lead between the coil pack and spark plug then. Fron there you can clip the timing light signal pick up to the lead and connect 12v
  24. Maybe cracked head gasket? good luck with the fix mate.
