i've just finished installing a new alpine ida-x305s in my car and it all works great apart from the fact that it's orders all folders and songs within folders by 'date last modified' rather than alphabetical order... can't for the life of my work out why the peice of shit jvc head unit i pulled out of it did exactly the same thing incidentally enough does anyone know how to change this? i've tried googling but it's a pretty specific thing to try and find and haven't turned anything up

hey i've just bought an alpine pdx-5 5 channel amp (4 x 75w & 1 x 300w rms) ebay <3 the original plan was to just use the clarion 75w component speakers in the front and the 30w pioneer speakers in the rear that came with that car and add the type S sub i've just been playing with the idea of changing the front clarion speakers to alpine type R component speakers which are 110w rms would the type R speakers be stretching the amp a bit too far? i had type S speakers which are 80watt running on a 4 x 50watt amp in my previous car and they had no problems so i'm thinking it might not be too bad, but it is a bit more of a stretch for what it's worth the headunit will be an alpine idax-305s

take the coilover out and have a better go at it or take it to fulcrum or someone that can pull them apart and service them

yeah i did the oil in my r32 gearbox with vmx-80 and tbh it felt worse after and i had no idea when it was changed before i did it

yeah arthur, i completely forgot about this section of the forum when i posted this thread, i originally posted it in another section it was moved here by an admin i've been through that thread and yeah i will go with castrol it's a daily with maybe 3 or maximum 4 track days a year in it

do you have an oil cooler or something? that seems very cold for oil, the oil in my old r32 and my r34 now both run at 92ºC at full temp.....

so it is definitely possible to get defi bf's to sit inside that cluster there is a thread on here with someone putting them in there but said they couldn't fit them in so they sat poking out of the front and everyone posted saying only 52mm gauges fit done the same as in the video, fit defi bf's into that gauge cluster in the dash?

this would make sense as different materials used for making exhausts would have different thicknesses depending on how strong they are

you better hope everything goes 100% smoothly doing a engine and gearbox swap in 1 weekend lol
