  1. yeah usually the lights coming on is slightly more random when its coilpacks, might not happen sometimes then will happen
  2. yeah i just put the JJR arms on my car its 1 bolt to be removed each side to adjust and as someone else mentioned - wheel alignments arent something you do ever week
  3. +1
  4. well matey do you want your car to not blow up or what? sometimes you have to spend cash
  5. that's because they are the same width and offset as the stock r33 gtr wheels you need to go wider than 9" or less offset, preferably both as mentioned above :]
  6. so i had my car at fulcrum yesterday for an alignment after i put new castor and camber arms all round while i had the car there i asked them to lower the car by roughly 15 or so millimeters just to get it a bit lower, r34 gtt with jap spec super streets that were in when i bought the car anyway everything was fine apart from the fact they wound the rears all the way down and it's still no lower than what is in the pictures below, which is not much lower than what it was when i brought the car in to them the guys at fulcrum thought they could possibly be the r32 coilovers or something i took a rim off this morning to look at the part number and as shown in the pic below is says they're r34 :\ i know they are super streets and don't have the base height adjustment but even the guys at fulcrum said they should go lower than that. i checked the part number just randomly on nengun and it's different to the number on my coilover so maybe mine are old and that's as much as i can? the fronts are sweet, and have more adjustment in them Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  7. no insurance, no alarm sounds like you deserve to get your car stolen almost
  8. not really sure why you want to stuff around with changing what is under there just replace the hoses and hose clamps and it will last you longer than you will have the car
  9. supercheap/autobarn/repco sell the correct size in the champion blister packs steal bolts will do the job, the packs that supercheap sell are high tensile and will be more than enough to hold your brake caliper on i replaced the bolts on my r32 with these bolts so i know first hand you don't need anything real special, they aren't holding a panel on a space ship or anyhting
  10. heh looks like some kind of oil cooler? the new leak could also be a clamp you need to tighten up again from when you replaced that hose before.
  11. best post evar mine's been doing this for a little while now and i haven't been any to find many posts with any detailed info other than 'throw out bearing' or 'input shaft' i will be testing this tomorrow, i have a feeling it's the 'free spinning noise' though if the noise is that free spinning noise, i'm assuming that it's not a bad thing?
  12. it is easier to take the mani off and do them all, than not taking it off and trying to f**k around doing 1 it's actually not a hard job at all, it's just slightly big job takes some time if you aren't a pro mechanic who could knock it out in half a day or whatever changing the hoses is a peice of cake ones you got the manifold off and worth it for the peice of mind after imo
  13. yeah unless you have spent a lot of cash on modifying the engine, getting an aftermarket ecu for a n/a skyline is just not worth it
  14. rb25 isn't that much different to the rb20, when i had my r32 i had a hose under the intake manifold go on me and almost overheated the engine. i was lucky the one that went i was able to get to by taking the starter motor out and i was able to get 1 hand up there to replace it. with a lot of swearing so after that i went and ordered all new replacement hoses from nissan (most of them are moulded so you have no choice) there was about 7 or 8 all up under and around the mani and put them in with new hose clamps, i took the manifold off to do it because it was just too retarded to get to most of them without doing that and while i had the manifold off i had a mobile fuel injector cleaner guy come out and clean/test my injectors while i had them out of the car. it's a prick of a job to do and the 7 hoses i ordered costed me about $300 (and that wasn't for heater hoses either) but it's good knowing after you have done it that you're not going to have anymore coolant hoses bust for a long time. especially if you take the car on the track which was my main concern if you have had that many hoses go on you i'd defintely be replacing them all rather than chasing your tail everytime another one goes
  15. hey it's my old rims shame you scuffed one of them up lowballers ignored eh? maybe i should have ignored you
  16. there are a few hoses that run under the intake manifold as well as around the back of the engine sucks to replace them because you have to take the manifold off to get to them pretty much, best to do them all at the same time with new clamps to be sure.
  17. sounds like some real bad luck lol
  18. sorry my service was only for a new timing belt kit and i provided the water pump if you can't do oils and coolants yourself you deserve to pay a lot of money luls
  19. r34 gtr wheels would be just outside the guard as it is without spacers... post pics of it with 20mm spacers on
  20. i think i paid about $1500 for a full power FC tune and a 100k service at east coast customs mercury are dreaming if they think a 100k service is worth $1600
  21. they look f**king shit on a skyline, just fyi
