  4. I have 4 stockies off of my 34 if thats any help, just pm me
  5. Have very close to the same setup but i have a garret equivalent, cant remember exact numbers, and have the 260 cams, power around town speeds is fine it is a little lazy but hit 3500-4000 and it will pull all the way to 7300. In safe tune im getting 285rwkw and on country trips i can get 10.5L/100km.
  6. Dont know about the diff or ecu but my clutch started slipping at just over 200rwkw
  7. With my 34 it only took till 220rwkw b4 the clutch started spinnig hate to think what it would do now cause i have 284rwkw and running an Exedy Hyper Single and it works fantastic and i drive it daily.
  8. Mine has no switch or adjustable muffler and the stock exhaust is quiet as, can hardly hear it in the car.
  9. I have in the same car an Exedy Racing Hyper Single and the Exedy lightened flywheel and its taking 285rwkw everyday with no problems for the last 18 months. It can be a pig sometimes, hill starts or peak hr but bearable cause when i want it to it just grabs and goes. Make sure you get a spring centered clutch or will will destroy your driveline very quickly on the road.
  10. What do you mean Sard dont fit straight in? Mine bolted straight in nothing to change and have been running perfect for 8 months now.
  11. gees shop around you can find them for 300 cheaper than that, and with all the headaches you will have getting them working the extra 400 has paid for itself
  12. sard have a decent range of injectors that bolt in as do nismo but only 440, anything that will fit 350Z is a bolt in fitment.
  13. Ok so ive read the PFC faq sheet, under the section on tuning for fuel economy it states at the start to turn the O2 feedback off, fine with that. It also mentions in other parts that the O2 should be on to get good fuel economy, does this mean i turn it off for the tuning and then turn it back on once i have finished? It doesnt mention anything bout turning it back on. Any help is appreciated. Also where can i find a cheapish afr meter or does anyone have one i can borrow for a night or two? I know how much the good ones cost im a mechanic and im not shelling out that much for 2 nights tuning.
  14. Know this will be a long shot but dont suppose anyone has an AFR meter that i can borrow for a night or two? Trying to get some sort of economy out of my 34 PM or call 0407910845 if you can help
  15. The kink brings it into the cabin but you dont even notice it because of the covers. If u have a 34 you need 34 box as they came out with pull style clutch and from memory there are a few updates with regards to syncro rings etc that make them last longer and stronger. i also think the nylon bush on the end of the selector may be a different size but not 100%
  16. Most of the time they are fine, but if i go for a burn around where i live in the hills when noone is around after about 5 mins and a few good hairpins that the brakes arent working as good as they should be, i should point out i only do it occasionally but do alot of open road country driving where i used to live and theres stuff all cops so i cruise at a fair speed and if i want to stop i want it done damn quick. Thanks for the answers though guys, ill have to see what a set of GTRs are worth and weigh it up against slotted rotors. Can always sell the current setup and use the cash for bigger brakes.
  17. Has had brake fluid flush only a couple of months ago when it got serviced and new turbo added. Have seen the group buy but was thinking about just going all out and not having to upgrade again if i get more power. Does anyone know if the GTR brakes fit?
  18. And generally less boost in spark ignitions engines is better but I have seen cases that are contrary to this as well. Diesel engines are quite the opposite though - the more boost the better. Its really a case of giving the engine what it likes. Boost is only a measurement of the charged air 20psi into an engine with a 11.5 comp ratio = dangerous 20psi into an engine with a 7.5 comp ratio = safe
