  2. Hey man Oh awesome .. yer i was going to go for a full ecu but im saving up for a rb25 so just wanted a small tune to get a bit more power out off the car at the moment. so it should be fine to turn the boost down in 0.10 kgcm2 increments without having to change any settings on the safc? Thanks, Niran
  3. Hey every one I have a slight problem with my car as i feel it does not pull even under full boost.. but before i go into that let me give you all the information.. Mods: Nissan skyline r32 gtst (rb20det) Greddy intercooler Pod filter R32 gtr Fuel pump Vg30 single version ball bearing turbo Stock rb20det ecu Apexi SAFC 2 Apexi AVCR Initially i had all this installed in my car and had not done any dyno tuning and had the avcr on basic settings running 0.83 bar on my turbo and it was pretty quick and the car pulled hard and lost traction in first gear and second.. About 2 months ago i had my car tuned (using the safc and avcr) at a tuning place in Perth , WA.. after i got the car back now it is just hesitant to pull sometimes.. however when i look on my avcr and change it to the graph mode i hit full boost and keep a smooth straight line ( on full boost ), however i get a whine/high pitch noise and the car does not pull. First of all i thought it maybe be just a good tune and its smooth so i don't feel the pull but nope i cant even break traction in first gear any more ( to give a comparison ). I thought it was my intercooler core that was leaking as it was a second hand china spec one so i ended up buying a new Greddy intercooler kit and i still am faced with the same problem.. it gets worse as the higher gear i select. for example 1st gear i have pull no whine noise, second gear before full boost i get a whine/high pitch noise and it pulls but not as hard, third, fourth and fifth gear before full boost i get a whine/ high pitch noise and even after it has reached full boost the car still wont pull.. then about 3-5 seconds delay all off a sudden the car pulls.. So in other words it seems as if the turbo is at full boost but there is a lag off about 3-5 seconds and then the car desides to pull.. Does any one have any ideas what could be the problem.. could it be the way the AVCR and SAFC has been set so that it has a delay? Any help appreciated Thank you, Niran

  14. Hey every one Ive just been looking through this forum itself and i know they use to sell jumpers however i haven't seen them on sale for a long time now. im trying to find a Nissan, Nissan skyline or Nissan GTR jumper/hoodie/shirt. Also even if its skyline aus merchandise that would be even greater. I know eBay sell's them but im trying to use that as a last resort. Does any one know where i can find nissan/skyline merchandise in Perth WA? and if so would you guys be able to give me a name or a location so that i can go check some places out. Thanks guys appreciated Niran

  16. Hey admin. you guys can delete this thread as i saw the huge thread on the r32 headlights. Thanks Niran
  17. Also sorry guys, i know the second picture is not a gtr. but just those headlights are the example. does any one know maybe if there was a difference between the gtr headlight and the r32 gts-4 ? Thanks Niran
  18. Hey bud I don’t know if this may be the problem but have you maybe by accident wired the safc power wire to the wrong wire on the ecu? By that i mean if you had the ecu plug upside down or facing the wrong way instead of wiring it to the bottom pin you might have wired it to the top pin? Another way to check would be using a mutli meter. At that join where the safc is connected to the ecu wire hold one side off the mutli meter ( + ) And the other side to a ground ( - ) and while the car or ignition is on it should show a voltage of approximately 12 v. After you take the key out and a delay of about 4-5 seconds it should lose that 12 v reading and go to 0. This would mean that the ecu power is working properly and there is somthing wrong with the SAFC itself. however if it does stay at 12v constant its most likley the wrong wire See if that works. Good luck Niran
  19. Hey everyone i have a r32 gtst mspec with the gtr bonnet, grill and also presuming the gtr headlights as they have those clip mounts on the inner sides off them that hold the gtr grill in place. My question is was there any difference in these headlights. i think it’s just my eyes but in some photos off gtr’s the headlights look as if they have a ring around them but then my car looks as if it has no ring around them. It’s probably just the angle of the photos, if not what is the difference? Example my car Example skyline off skyline aus ( sorry if this is your car and im using your pic ) [ Thanks Niran
  20. Hey guys Yer i finally got the bolts off. ended up putting one off the bolts through the gearbox holes and then put another bolt in between the actual flywheel teeth and the bolt so that it would lock in place and wont slip when i apply the a long breaker bar. After that just got a big breaker bar and got another mate to pull from one side while i pushed and finally got them off. Thanks every one for your help Much appreciated, Niran
  21. Hey Dude ive tried the wd-40 but ill try putting more on and leaving it for longer Thanks man, niran
  22. Hey man because there was someone selling one that had already been machined and did not have a use of it anymore, so I brought that instead of having mine machined specially when it only cost $50 bucks. Also yer i know what it is, i shall try it out tomorrow. Thanks
  23. Hey every one this weekend i decided to remove my clutch as it was worn and put a new one in. After removing the gearbox and then the clutch I saw that the fly wheel itself did not have a smooth finish and was also worn or not worth using, so I brought a new fly wheel. That was all good however i cannot remove the bolts to get the fly wheel off. So far i have tried using a breaker bar which has a ½ inch head, and also used a hammer drill (air gun) that is rated at 80-100psi. However still no movement what so ever off the bolts. Does anyone know what else i could do to try removing them? Someone said heat them up however would that cause the actual metal to lose its strength and end up snapping when i put force to remove it? Another person said instead of using a air gun that has a 1/2 inch socket head use one that would have a ¾ inch head as it is bigger hence more strength, would that work? Oh also the car itself is on axel stands so I don’t have bulk room under the car but enough to have pulled the gearbox itself out. The car is an r32 gts-t with the rb20det if that’s of any help. Thanks guys any help extremely appreciated Niran
  24. The cops Lately i swear are just doing it for their own satisfaction.. It’s fair enough if they yellow our cars for a good reason but most of them sound as if they have already decided the outcome before they even open the bonnet. What annoys me the most is all these cops sound as if they have NO idea even what is illegal in the car instead they just say some stupidly outrages excuse to get your car off the road, there should be a rule where you can actually fire a police officer for abusing their power. My cousin got yellow stickered two days ago and he was just driving his 180sx and he saw a cop car pass by on the other side, at first they just kept driving and then about 400m later they just did a u-turn and came speeding up he’s ass. They pull him over tell him to pop to bonnet.. Now my cousin has external gate, catch can and all the rest.. However this police officer didn’t say one word about that because he had no idea what the heck they even where.. so instead because he couldn’t find a reason he yellowed him for " loose objects in the engine bay " and pointed to some wires. Don’t get me wrong there are the good cops who actually do their job but most of them are just a pain .the government should invest some money in teaching the police force (at least the ones who don’t work in the office ) about cars before they are qualified to even give out a YELLOW sticker! Good luck on getting your yellow sticker off man.. it’s a shame that all thease cars are just getting yellowed. When I got done and when to pits the pits guys asked me what I got yellowed for and they just laughed at what the police said about mine.. You should be alright mate Tc guys, Niran
