  1. Thanks for that man much appreciated So if i turn the set Gain down it should stop it from cutting the boost back and starting again? Il have a fiddle and see how i go, Cheers
  2. Am i having a similar problem tuning my Profec B spec 2. I have set it up to a point where i can achieve my max boost of around 11-12psi, the problem is that it reaches that boost very quickly and then drops off and starts again. I could be in any high gear and have the throttle 1/4 to 1/2 in and it wil creep up to 10-12 psi rather quickly at low revs(2k-3k) and then once it hits the a decent psi level it drops back to around 6psi or so and starts creeping up again this time only even maxing at 9psi-10psi close to the rev limiter. You can feel the car "jerk" and kick back as this happens These are my current settings: set 40% gain 10% set gain 100 warn 150 l warn 15% I have tried turning up the gain as high as it goes but the problem is still there. Any help would be much appreciated guys since currently i am happier with just the bc turned off since at least then its a smooth power curve just doesnt have the boost i am looking for. Cheers Jason
  3. Haha thanks for that , now have a better understanding...But when it comes down to it, fuel consumption is a small price to pay for a quality performance
  4. Being a student id like to enjoy the best of both worlds. No need to be on full boost permanently, Although it would be nice
  5. Ah ok, so rather Rev it in a lower gear rather than use boost. Would fuel economy plummit if i were to use 3/4 or full boost say in 5th gear and only at 2k? Is this supplying more air pressure/ fuel than the car is using? Cheers
  6. Hi, I have a 96 R33 gts-t and was wondering how to get the best fuel economy out of it. Alot of threads have discussed things to improve fuel economy but not many about how to drive the car to achieve this. My car is fairly stock with only an aftermarket exhaust, pod and a boost gauge. I was wondering if it is better to be in a higher gear with lower revs and be on say 2psi now and then or use the engine's power without the assistance of the turbo and rev higher in each gear and not really pass the 0 PSI mark? Also is it possible to have a DSBC on less than the standard boost, Say 1 or 2 PSI and basically eliminate the turbo for daily driving? Then just shoot back to full use of it when needed? Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Cheers Jason
