..... yeah its Ryan's old S13. Spotted a gunmetal grey R32 GT-R with victorian plates U**248 cruising around town today. Also have seen the girl driving the white R32 GTS-T with GT-R bodykit around alot lately.

Kurt, Fabio & myself went. Free pizza & beer! Got to talk to commitee, watch cadra dvd & see our coverage in Dragster magazine. Main points talked about were upcoming street meeting changing to Sat 13/6/09 from 1pm onwards. 1320x meeting, Trans Tasman & drag bike meetings coming up. Longer break over summer. What we wanted out of the meetings? How to attract more entries? Are we happy how things are run? In the future they will have night racing, burnout pad 30m x 30m and other parts of the track finished. We all need to keep supporting our local track and get as many people as we can out to the drag meetings!

Yeah got the call from Marion also. I will be going its just around the corner from my place. Will be a good chance for everyone who races to have their say.

Maybe not new, but my new project I picked up yesterday. SR20 n/a Datto when I get some time off working on commodores.

Nah just the gtr for bracket racing. BK got his clutch in the VSPEC today, so hopefully we can run some 11sec battles. Will keep my slow cars for the street meets. Good news Fab, some 255/50/16 M/T Et streets would be the go. Plenty of rwd skylines have got into the 10's with these, so you should be able to get a 11 sec pass straight up on 16psi.

What driveline clutch/gearbox/diff is the mr2 running? It is very rare to see any quick ones on a dragstrip in australia, they can be very fragile. Quickest mr2 in australia currently is a sydney '88 1.6l running 10.66 @ 131mph on a 225/60/15 tyre. If jimmys korean rocketship is auto I will buy him a carton if it can beat my cruiser

BK ran 2 12's then retired with a slipping clutch, got roll cage Andra tech inspected then went home to fit. Lehi ran 13.1 in the syclone with more to come. I ran 3 11's but wasn't consistent enough, super street got merged with the super sedans so we had no chance. Definately worth doing the surge tank Fab, mine gets bad fuel cut out with less than 1/3 tank.

Never missed a race yet! Racing speedway aswell sat night so i will be busy. Probably run the datto as the gtrs were put in exhibition last time cause they didnt know what to do with us. The 2 fastest genuine street cars running full exhaust & street tyres in Alice still got put in super street. Would never happen interstate on a street meeting. Maybe they prefer V8s

Finally got out of my commodore and into another turbo import. Goes very quick for a 2.5 tonne 4WD. Torque is very impressive Have already got rid of the bling alloys and yesterday had a 3inch straight through exhaust fitted (no mufflers at all) Same plates, so you can't miss it if you see me waving.

Blew the diff in the Datto "again" tonight doing some testing. Should have my r180 5.1 locked turn up this week, hopefully ready for the burnout comp on the 7th. Hey Fab are you going to bring the Skyline out to the speedway and show Ray Tebeck how it is done?

Yep me too!!! Build quality is poor and it isn't that practical for my work. Quality hasn't changed much since the VB commodore. Glovebox fell out the other day, power steering problems, axle tramp, engine stalling etc and my Datsun still is quicker Will be traded soon on a Toyota V8 Turbo Landcruiser 4wd ute or Hilux. Can't beat Japanese quality

Picked mine up in Melbourne on the way back from a holiday in Tassie earlier in the year.(Too much time spent looking around the pits at powercruise!) 2007 Apelright Trailer build, 5 new Goodyear truck tyres, 4 wheel tie downs, aluminium box, 1 carefull elderly owner $3000 Loaded it up same day with a Datto I had my eye on from Ozdat and drove back to Alice. No problems. Spends its time now carting my GTR or Datto to the drags and my speedway car to the track. Also has carried everthing from 180sx to falcons
