  1. There is a feature in the latest High Performance Imports #93 about tuning Power Fc's from scratch on Skylines. Would probably be best to reset your ecu and do a safety tune before driving the 33. Less chance of the motor going pop! Make sure you get all instruction manuals & user guides that always come in the original packaging. If not there is heaps of info on sau. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Fa...req-t64201.html
  2. Anyone else joined the list yet?
  3. Saw a new ad on imparja this weekend for the drags on the 25th. Theres about 2 seconds footage of my gtr doing a burnout. All the other cars are V8s. Anyone know any insiders at imparja who could get more footage?
  4. I talked to Guy Watts who said the test & tune day has been put off till June 15th, after Finke. At this stage he suggested entry cost of $35-40 with as many runs as you want and timeslips. Bracket racing meeting is still on schedule for May 25th & June 22nd. Shannons Car Show 27th July All Imports Welcome! Some of my amateur photos from S&S
  5. Good news BK on your box! Finally got all my parts & gearbox assembled, will be getting fitted tomorrow. Will confirm show entry as soon as it is moving.
  6. Option 2 would definately be the smartest choice on a budget? Shop around for quality! Option 1 & 3 could easily blow out to 2-3 times the costs quoted! RB25 = TAC report & engineering
  7. Who owns the sweet looking r30/31 2 door with watanabe rims parked out the front of Street Torque? Dallas hasn't traded the commodore in for a real car has he?
  8. Yep burnt the STR2CD out. Not rated for drag racing. Throwout bearing = bearing release sleeve. Not a stock Nissan part but OS Giken. Bearing release sleeve may still need changing, due to increased thickness of plates. Would check with installer/otomoto. Sounds like the same mod has been carried out to the front cover/shaft as mine.
  9. Recently upgraded from a STR2CD to a TS2CD (BNR32) and had the same symptoms. I found my my bearing release sleeve needed changing from 22mm to 15mm. Seems 7mm makes a big differance. There are 5 sizes 32-15mm. Also had to get 4mm machined off the front cover. As I bought from Otomoto they helped me out with the info.

  12. +1 for 10w60. Great oil for my climate. Willall Racing used it on my motor after it was run in, following rebuild in 2006. Has been used on my motor ever since.
  13. $20 aint much to support the cause! Any presentable car in town has no excuse for not turning up. Even though the judges will be V8 biased, hopefully a import will get a place in Street Machine. Surely a import will take out the sound off.
  14. Book me for my 2 cars, should we pay before or on the day? 24th would be good as long as he is not to busy with his own car before the drags. If not would be happy with the sunday after.
  15. It is the NT, not today, not tomorrow, next truck Havent seen the inside since I was 1st fixing the electrical
  16. baby got back ...but no kitchen!
  17. Probably be chaos on the 1st night, most likely go on the 8/9. Should definately know what state the skyline will be in by then.
  18. +2 Hopefully Skyline will be in 1 piece! Will drag out on trailer if not. Datto is always good to go. Registered 1/4 time on ozdat.com, seems it is 3rd quickest N/A in the country at the moment. Category? Dunno Hopefully we can get the imports to outnumber the V8s
  19. Work, Waiting on parts How's juicy rump looking?
  20. Lots of shit all happening tonight
  21. Alice to Darwin & Alice to Port Augusta there are places you will pay up to $1.8/90. As soon as you leave the bitumen you can easily pay $2+ in the Territory.
  22. If you havent seen it yet, BK video is up. Turn up the volume and listen for the 2/3 gear shifts.
  23. Last saw Julian writing for 'Silicon Chip', he always reminded me of a school teacher. I went and read some of my back issues of Zoom around the time he crashed the GT-R, 'RS Turbo better than GT-R' :laughing-smiley-014: Danny 'Denzo' Vahoumis, Martin 'Tuner' Donnon, Andrew 'Ignition' Hawkins & some of the drifters would get my vote. All know a variety of cars well, can drive & seem to keep me amused when they are in front of the camera. Maybe even Ketzal 'High Octane' Sterling if he is still around.
  24. I will never stop driving! 3 cars all running 98 BP Ulimate We have been paying over $2 in some remote areas for a while now As a tradie I will just charge more!
  25. HYPACTV FOR SALE! wtf Best S13 in town? If only I had the money I would make room in my garage http://www.carsales.com.au/used-cars/priva...mp;sort_type=10
