  1. Hey Guys, I just need to know what thickness a standard R34 GTT rear sway bar is. One of the D mounts on the rear has bent (dont know how but its fubar'd), and i figured while i replaced that i might as well get some poly bushes, but i obviously need to know the thickness of the bar.. Now i know i could jack it up and measure it etc.. but i was hoping to pick this stuff up on the way home from work. So if anyone could help me that would be good.. Cheers
  2. sorry to trawl this up, but i'm having some issues programming a remote also... as above i have been trying the door open, ign on, press release and so on.. but i seem to have an on/off toggle switch rather than a push button switch? model #: EZSDE1478 could this be why i dont anything when i try the procedure? or is there another 'valet' switch somewhere? or do i have the same issue as Daniel above? edit: i just found this thread http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...am+viper+remote, so i will try looking harder for the valet button..
  3. spewin i missed the bar.. agreed tho.. way too cheap..
  4. yeah it sucks air when it falls off, but its not going to cause crazy engine damage quickly.. Just limit the driving you have to do when it falls off before repair. The other option (which i used when mine was stuffed for a bit) is to put something over the end of the pipe (i used cling wrap) and lacky band the shit out of it.. all your trying to do is stop shit getting sucked in there. As for using hose on new boost gauge you will be fine providing the hose size is the same on both.. Another tip would be to go and get fresh vacuum hose before you start (cheap cheap from super cheap). Fresh hose wont break, whereas if you just cut and use the old hose on a different size nipple it will end up splitting sooner or later. Cheers
  5. You really don't need much.. if its healthy the most you could need might be new clutch, brakes, maint in general.. The only thing you may want to account for in the budget is how close it is to the 100k service.. Because that can cost a bit if done in a workshop. Other than that it should take a beating with minimal probs.. PS: my insurance $1000~ full comp with justcars (They know about ALL my mods). i just turned 26 (paid last premium when i was 25) and i'm rating 1 which helps..

Sorry to dig this up but i just wanted to thank sl33py for a new idea!! will check this at first chance.. all the symptoms fit and i even had shitty tires which pulled me to the left, and maybe they have bent the rack.. proper tires on now, and it drives straight but still shudders as u describe.. Need Help

Yeah its a pretty easy job.. as above, back seats out.. I took parcel shelf out for that bit more room.. Make sure you do it on flat ground if u can.. the few bolts at the top of the struts are generally easy enough to take off and the bottom bolts on the stock gear might be a bit tight but just hit that with the breaker bar and it will come loose... Only other thing if yours are similar design to Buddy Club, make sure u cable tie ur brake lines to the strut as you may not have mounts on the new struts for them. Don't want them getting damaged.. Also, tighten, lower the car, tighten again (strut tops).. Umm other than that pretty easy.. should take maybe 4 hours even if you don't know what your doing.. PS: lower the car slowly the first time after install cos you can never be too sure how low they come from the factory.. (in my case too low, lol)
  20. LOL! dude in the blue singy will win..
  21. LOL.. u should tell them to come on here and sign up..
  22. Here is my graph to back up what i said above.. Although, to add to the current discussion a bit more... i would hope once i have injectors, fuel pump and highflow/brand name turbo that i would be around 250rwkw at maybe ~16-18psi
