+1 for Just Cars.. I'm 25 and pay $1000 for full comp on r34 valued at $25k with mods.. I am rating 1 but the price was still a HEAP better than other companies.. Suppose it all depends on location and parking security in the end.. They stuffed my postcode up by 1 number when i opened the policy so i called them up to purely change the postal address error and they informed me over the phone that my premium would drop $300!! Ridiculous isn't it!

True, but you also have less options without going backwards.. My current concern.. hehe Mine was an N14 Q SR20.. i miss that car.. it took PUNISHMENT for 7 years and was still strong as a rock when i sold it. I would still have the R34 over it any day tho..

I agree with all of the above.. the people that clap you for being a hero and give you hand signs suggesting you slow down are the best.. especially when your doing 40 in a backstreet.. haha I would say the current increase in concern is 100% the medias fault tho. The GTiR's SR20 does make more power and torque than the u13's.. problem is they are a bitch to mount E/W and to transfer from 4wd to 2wd.. people used to try it in pulsars (N14&15), but most people took the easier (and i dare say cheaper) route of the u13 SR... Something i would like to see would be how many of the components from the GTiR version would bolt up to the others.. quad throttles etc.. A forum that i used to be a member of would prolly have more info on E/W mounted engines and value for money options.. www.pulsar.org.au If the forum hasn't gone to the trolls yet, it should have some decent info.. Interesting the turbo flanges differ though... didnt know that.

Not at this stage.. hopefully in the end it wont need a chip and it will only need a firmware upgrade to hack it like the PSP... that would be nice... But short answer is no, not yet.. ($100 games are killing me aswell, im up to 9 games.. ) lol

surely the SR20DET out of the u13 bluebird would fit.. east-west mounted DET and will fit anywhere an east-west mounted DE will fit... Would probably pull about 147fwkw out of it with a decent install... The other engine you could swap out for (prolly harder to find) is the SR20DE VVL (not sure on engine number).. i think it comes in one series of xtrail... nice motor and will give you more power than a normal DE.. close to DET performance in standard form i believe edit: ok i did a bit more research.. the VVL version of SR20 is called SR20VE.. There is also a SR20VET version of this engine which is said to have come out of the factory at 280ps (206kw) although this engine may have been mounted N/S but i cant find info on this.. The SR20VE is good for about 136kw Keeping in mind the a standard SR20DE is good for about 105kw at flywheel.

you will probably need a booster. R34s have shocking signal strength... Also differs between head units! I used to have a JVC CD only unit which was fine with radio after aerial converter, whereas the new Sony DVD i just put in SUCKS for reception!

if its sounds like its coming from the fan it could be the fan fouling the cooler piping? (if you have one).. common problem..

plugs or coils... as you just put new plugs in i would re-check those and the coil harness connection to each coil... also search for the thread which tells you the different colors for different spark plug problems. If it doesn't idle, wants to stall and cant rev over 2k then its piping... not 100% on rb20 piping but there are a few that you prolly have to take off to get to plugs which would behave like this if not re-connected properly.. so check that..

Stick with just cars and take the piss out of everyone else.. I pay $1k full comp, over 200rwkw, pfc, boost control, coilovers, FMIC etc.. and im 25 (Rating 1). I dont think i would get past the "i have a skyl..... *truck reversing*" with any other insurance company. I sure didn't the last time i tried. Also the last time i called Just Cars the agreed value went up based on mods. They now value the car at what i paid for it 2 years ago! LOL I seriously nearly fell of my chair after i found out the value went up based on things more likely to make me stack it.. Good blokes at JC and I only have one more test for them... Honoring a claim when the time comes.. (Hopefully never)

Do you know if these will fit RB25DET NEO? i have a funny feeling they don't, but hoping you have come across this info? Nengun seem to think that the ER34 and 350Z run 'special' set, although they look very similar?

This all sucks for the P-platers out there... I can see why there are these new rules, but they are fairly f*kn ridiculous... Im sick of authorities creating new rules to police a minority.. happening all too often lately in all aspects of enjoying yourself!
