  1. the outboard nut is easier to get to from under the car. (for me anyway)
  2. yep sounds like the 02 sensor. theres a million threads on them around here. i think its an EL Falcon 02 sensor thats a direct fit for skylines.
  3. pics? km's? year model?
  4. i was cleaning up the boot and I found some rusty fishing hooks with japanese writing and an empty condom wrapper, also in japanese - which now makes me a bit uneasy when sitting in the back.
  5. I'm also interested in Chubb's question.
  6. brilliant car guys - i was the dorky dude pretty much drooling on this car on the weekend at ec. i was stoked i got to see this car in flesh. total monster.
  7. lol nice! i actually really like that!
  8. Seriously, DIY is an awesome option. It will save you HEAPS of money, and it's fairly simple once you get the hang of what you need to do - all you need is time. I have absolutly no idea how to install stereo's, but I allowed an entire weekend and I did everything you want to do and a little more. Two entire days is heaps, but for a total newb I needed it. But now I know i saved around $400-$500 an I know the in's and out's of my entire system, as well as how to gut my car and strip the dash out. It's worth it - give it a go.
  9. i need these ones harry, the big ones. no, make it two big ones. and i need it by tonight.
  10. awesome spelling.
  11. omg beer. I'm in.
  12. spotted 2 r35's, the advan/yokohama r34 and heaps of 33's and 32's at EC today.
  13. try to get there before 5 to beat the massive line up for scrutineering.
  14. no, its still a push type. gtr's might be different.
  15. i think there was a weekly hills cruise in the pipeworks, but not sure if that went ahead or not.
  16. spotted a white r33 coming out of richmond yesterday. I was in front of you mate as we went past that rbt.
  17. I bought a new key for my r33. I figured car keys are fairly generic, so I wouldn't have a problem finding a key for my r33. I did. I ordered it on 17th april, this year, and still haven't got it. They guy at the nissan dealership said they had none in Australia, and he'd have to order it from Japan, which would take 6-8 weeks. Bit of a long wait...but fair enough. So it's been 4 months and now I'm having a massive trauma trying to get my money back. arrrghh!
  18. yep, it's a push type. Depending on what type of clutch you get, you might need to also get a longer or shorter bearing carrier for your thrust bearing. This is important - you need to get the correct length bearing carrier or your clutch will not fully engage/disengage when you kick your clutch in. Most clutches come in kits, which should also supply the thrust bearing. Alternatively, most clutch/gearbox overhual joints could help you out with some wierd formula for working out application loads for thrust bearings.
  19. i'd try using a trolley jack onto the back of a ute. it will be mega hard trying to lift it with mates.
  20. pics of interior?? looks nice.
  21. congrats man! on the immobilizer issue - your opening up a massive can of worms. there are tonnes of threads about good and bad ones. You can argue the issue that the cheaper immobilizers are abviously lower quality - thus does not protect your car as much as expensive ones, and brand name immobilizers are easier to bypass because they are so widely used. At the end of the day the level of your cars security is up to you. Your better of keeping it to yourself so no one knows how far you have gone to make your car safe. Alot of poeple go for the mongoose immobilisers, and they come in a range of security levels. three point immiblizers are the best i tihnk. And yeah i was lucky to get a qoute less then $500.
  22. spotted a black r32 and silver 4 door r34 with a massive gt wing on the m5 heading towards the airport.
  23. lol looks like that ferrari is about to get cleaned up by that mazda/corolla.
