Oh, I should also add oil pressure remains fine, car feels very underpowered, still on stock boost, but I can get maybe around 5psi out of the turbo if i give it a real bootful (which I'm not really inclined to do) Mods are: 3" turbo back FMIC Turbosmart boost tee Stock ECU

Hey guys, Sorry for the thread digging - but I like searching for past info then dump the same problems in new threads. I think I've got the same gasket problem mentioned here but need your guys advice!! Anyway, I drove hard at Eastern Creek on friday - on the drive home out of nowhere I start hearing this noise - similar to what has been said in the above posts. It's a ticking sound, pretty much coming solely from the turbo. Here's a vid I took. The coilpack cover/turbo heat shield and other bits and pieces have been removed to specify the source of the noise, there usually in place normally. What do you reckon? Gaskets?

yeah that was me. I struggled with grip too. Came off twice at turn 4 and once coming out of turn 2. Well, I blame grip - but it's most likely my terrible driving skills.

Thousands. It was pretty packed. Not many 100% hotlaps which was really the only downside. One minute I was being smoked by r35gtr's the next your trying to find your way around old school escorts with grumpy drivers who won't let you pass

turned out to be a excellent day. Not so much for the car though. The front right tyre delaminated just at the end of my last session so I had to drive home with the craziest vibration ever. Lumps of rubber falling off everywhere! I thpught about throwing on the limp-home but I just crawled home. Turbo is now making a funny noise

I'm about to invest in k-sport. I'm trying to get to the track at least 2-3 times a month so I guess they'll get an ok'ish flogging.

semi's + turn 1 + wet = clenched bum hole. If it does rain there is a strong possibility i'll wee myself a little bit braking into turn 2.

meet beforehand is ok - but it's best to get in early. It gets busy round 5:30ish and you only get a run in every hour or so. So if can get in and scrutineered before racing starts your can get a fair few runs in.
