Hi Joel, Hows the black beast of yours?I thought you would have been the first to line up at AIR but i didnt see you there. Grepin, We would have to work out who`s house we could have it at.I`d have it at my house but its going to take a while before we settle in (move in next week). I,ve also got some footage from the drags that Matt took for me.

Maybe we need to do a video night?

Why would you buy second hand after seeing the prices on the Greenline sight.Damn there cheap! Terry-I dont think it would matter what it says aslong as he does great deals.(i know i`m a cheap b*st*rd:) )

13.4 second 1/4 for your 'stockish' R33. (A how to guide).
Bugalugs replied to rev210's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
hi guys, Over the weekend i did a 13.44@106.77with 2.183 60`.I`m running stock turbo-BOV-ECU but i have got a FMIC,boost bleed valve, zorst(turbo back),pod filter,255rears,9-12psi depending on climate.A couple of months ago i had it on the dyno and got 204rwkw(no dips). rev210- The only reason why i posted this is because i noticed your car is a 1995model and so is mine.Maybe theres something in that? Matt -
Thank u Ivan/RPM Performance for a great day. It was my first time down the 1/4 so it was nice to do it without a big crowd.Part of the reason why i wanted to do this was to backup my dyno results from the dyno day at Tilbrooks and prove that it was no fluke. My best was 13.44@106.77with2.183 60` and as Freebags said i did do a 106.99mph 13.5. It was good to catch up with you guys again and when i'm settled into my new house i should be able to get out crusin again. Freebaggin-I'm not sure how long that gasket is going to last being that you are missing 2 studs. You may have to order that T88 earlier than you thought so they can fit and fix all at once to cut cost. Grepin-I`m still baffled by your low mph.I spose just let WW2 begin and kick F/B`s ass then. Matt

Well done "BRIAN" Munro All that hard work & somebody else gets all the credit! (Brian Munro IS actually a drag racer too!) Hey John you can claim to have been the street tyre record holder for an hour or so But seriously, good job John / Mark & the boys / & Martin. It seems those 2835R's had a 9 in them after all Getting to see 2 RH9 GT-R's go at it head to head was worth the entry fee. Congrat's to Keir & all involved too. Jo,Be my guest(did you want to buy it?) Matt,That would have to be the shortest report 4 the longest cruise ive been on (clown).Ive never cruised down south much before. Cheeky,That is a sweet looking 32 you have.
-
Clint,I didnt think your car knew how to go in a straight line
-
Matt,I was wondering what that smell was coming from the boot of your car. :headshot: Jo,You know what you can do this weekend. :run: Matt :innocent:

John-Cant wait to see the Silver Sky rip. tN-Nice choice of car dude. Lee-I hope to see your car going down the Q aswell mate. Matt-New tyres huh?no more 0-100 drags with you. and remember- If it aint a silver line in aint a RH9 hahahaha Matt ps,yes i`m half cut:bahaha:
-
Sly-It usually takes us forever to get going on these cruises cause were all looking and talking about everyones mods they have done since the last time we caught up. Matt(Whatsisname)-Well,can ya get a leave pass? Have to park on the road cause of chains that have been put up at Mitre10(no hassle though) Matt
-
I did see those Skylines but didnt recognise any.Mine was parked over near Macas. Yeh,when you see a car sideways with smoke comin off the tyres you should just sit back and enjoy the view not get involved(close call)
-
Was i blind or what not seeing anyone there(dont answer that).Did anyone see the white 33 at fulham lettin it rip in front of Macas? After fulham stop it was tame.I dont think i saw 1 burnout after that. The cops became thicker aswell. Lee-did you have your car there?
-
I`m working all day sat. so i cant make it. I went to the Extreme HP cruise but i didnt see any of you there?except Brad with his bl**dy loud Torana.Hey Brad you should have followed me turning left instead of right at Grand Junction Rd.Where did you guys end up? Matt

Fitting FMIC behind Series 1 stock frontbar
Bugalugs replied to Sciby's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I just finished mine which is a 95 model but it has the same front bar you have. The FMIC is 600x300x75 plus end tanks.I had to do alot of cutting of the plastic (mainly the bottom section) to get it in there but it fits and in the end i cut the bar that holds the number plate so it would flow more air,i didnt have to though. The bottom of the cooler sits level with the bottom of the front bar. Like you,i didnt want to change my front bar cause i like the one i got. I have no pics as yet. Matt -
Intercooler Piping size / Configuration
Bugalugs replied to Sil8ty's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Enrico-Are u saying atleast 20kw-40kw more you think?I dont think a dyno would be reading that much difference. How much difference do ya reckon? Whatsisname got 10kw more than his last dyno(RPM`s dyno after an hour of tuning the turbo glowing red hot). There was another guy with the same mods(piping different to mine) aswell as a FCD which did a 199rwkw. GTR 8OY-I have had my ECU out but it looks original with no stickers on it but saying that my A/FR was just about spot on,they reckon i wouldnt get much better with an aftermarket ecu.Come to think of it i still have the 180speed limiter and redlines where it should so i dont know. I havnt got any pics of the piping. Matt -
Intercooler Piping size / Configuration
Bugalugs replied to Sil8ty's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I`ve just finished mine in 2 1/2 inch.It runs opposite to normal (turbo side x/over).I only done it in mild steel cause thats all i can weld but i will be getting a HPC when i get around to it.I havnt found it to have anymore lag as usual but i had the car dynoed at Tilbrooks Dyno Day and i got 204rwkw.The only mods i have are zorst,hi/flow cat, front pipe, pod, bleed valve(running 12PSI) and FMIC.I dont know what i had in KW before then but it seems to have more power now and with those figures i am quite happy. Ring Gordon from AAA exhaust they can help you out with s/steel mandrel bends, expanding and welding if needed. My pipe work cost me about $70 all up(from turbz to throttle body). Matt -
Mods-I dont think this forum has enough space to list it all.Its the GTST in the one of the Speed magazines owned by Danny from JMS.I watched it do a 296rwkw at a car show.He drives his cars hard(i know, ive chased him). Its interesting that you say the stock bottom end wont handle the power.I just havnt read or heard much on ppl breaking motors cause of the bottom end,its always other things that have caused the problems. Maybe someone can correct me if i`m wrong. Anyway its a NISSAN it dont break! Matt
-
We have someone from here that is running 300rwkw with the stock bottom end. They havnt blown it up yet. With your new turbo,H/Gasket you will also need an aftermarket ECU aswell as injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure reg...... When all this is done make sure you go to a good tuner cause they will make or brake your car. Matt
