Hi Fellas, There is a R33 GTS-T which im very close to buying, i just want to get a report from REVs about previous write off status and if there is any encumbrance. I have put the vin number on the REVs website and the rego but it says that there is no match in there database? could they not support imports? Any other recommendations for things to look for/ test to conduct ? Cheers

G'day Fellas, After a long time of trying to sell my daily(Holden Vectra CDXI), it has finally sold and I am now looking for a Skyline friend for my R32 GTS which is getting lonely in the garage. I'm looking for a as Standard as possible R33 Series 2 GTS-T ie: 1996+ OR a 1992 or 1993 standard R32 GTS-T, preferentially in Victoria although if need be I will travel to get her. I know there are a few threads on here with WTB but they haven't really been popular so I will try another. Cheers

ahh fair enough, It ended up going for $9250.. I was prepared to pay up to $7000. Repairs would cost around $3500 for cosmetic, butwho knows, maybe mechanically something was wrong..

Apparently you don't need a VIV now if the damage is only cosmetic. They have change this after the 2010 Hail Storm caused massive delays in getting a VIV. Zillr, how do you know the white gtr went back up ?

G'day guys, Pickles started auctioning off all the repairable write off cars on behalf of the insurance companies. I went today and saw a few good bargains. Saw a White 1994 r32 GTR with 88000kms sold for $9000 --- shattered i didn't have the cash VT and VX commodore with minimal damage going for $800-$2000 good for a daily drive Newish Corrolas going for about $5000-6000 05-07 models with low kms Highly recommend if you want a cheap beat around or are/know panel beaters.. http://www.pickles.com.au/damaged/promotions/-/content/melbourne-storms
