  2. I have a 2009 v36 sedan and mine has a foggy mirror cam...the rear cam is good...I have tried polishing the outside to clear it up with out any luck. If you find a cure please share info. ..thanks rob

All figures aside as i believe that you can go to 3 different dyno's and get 3 different readings... how confident is anyone about how much power they are putting out... 1/4 mile times also is not all about power i think set up and driver ability come into it as well. ..... I am very happy with the way my car performs now after a remap from Toshi.... I am not going to modify my car any further and it did seem to have a flat spot in the mid range before ... after the ecu was changed over i noticed a big difference in the way the car pulls under heavy acceleration was much better than before and appears to do it through out rev range, car seems much quicker, smoother and power is more linear (i did up the boost a little as well)... i just got 509kms out of 52.7 ltrs was mainly open road driving with occasional squirts thrown in as i was wanting to see how good my economy was as well (did change O2 sensor) but all in all DRIVABILITY , power and fuel economy is all good and im very happy for the money I spent. I dont have the fastest car on the road but it is quick and it runs well :-) was a good option for me........my 2 cents worth.....
  5. Hi I had Toshi do my ecu (im in Perth) I would have much rather do the road tune with him but he is in Sydney... I have a 1997 S2 AUTO r33 skyline with front mount intercooler , turbo tech boost controller running 10-11 psi, full 3" exhaust turbo back, pod with CAI, Walbro fuel pump, The car ran ok before but since putting the remapped ECU in the cars power seems more linear and pulls right through the rev range... On the Dyno it achieved 268hp = 200rwkw and afr's were good was slightly higher than anticipated but dyno's being dyno's ...Bottom line the car runs great ..... He was very helpful to me and I did contact him a lot of times. I would highly recommend his services ..... thanks Toshi...
  6. Yeah thanks... I do use the serarch alot, Is why I havent posted much..... I did ring genie performance exhausts in myaree which have a dyno but they cant print out the afr's which is what i need .. The price was only $55 which sounded ok to me... But I will try the ones you have mentioned see what price they can do is just a basic run really i should imagine as they arent tuning it or anything. been checking out the diy section alot also... (need to install a walbro fuel pump- ahhhh ) cheers Rob
  7. Not sure if this is the place to ask but wondering where i can get my car dyno'd so I can check the AFR's and power its makin. need printout as have remapped my ECU. Im SOR just need a printout of the AFR's . thanks Rob
  8. WEll I put a hi-flo cat back in mine and the boost problem is still there so Im tipping that its the front pipe . I think I will bite the bullet and buy a bell mouth one instead of the split pipe. It started happening after I installed the split dump... rob
  9. I am going to put a cat back on the system and see if that sorts it out... I think the exhaust runs too freely now and the gasses from the wastegate dont get to merge with the main pipe effectively which causes the over boosting... x fingers .. have already dropped the split dump pipe and ground out the wastegate side so waste gate opens freely so isnt that... will let you know how i get along.
  10. hi, just curious ... did you gut your cat? are you running a standard cat or hi flo? as I have the same problem which started after I gutted mine and installed a JJR split dump/front pipe. regards Rob

I also have same problem have a r33 series 2 and got the jjr split dump pipe ... at revs over 4 - 5000 with foot down it builds boost and continues to climb until I get off the accelerator... would go up to 14 psi i should imagine... I took mine off today as i thought that was the problem after putting standard boost controller back and still had same result (overboosting). sure enough the waste gate is hitting on the inside of the pipe / welds... so I am going to attempt to grind it out and hope i dont put a hole in the pipe doing it. as the flap only opens about 1/3 the way open. Im guessing this isnt enough to stop boost building at high revs. sh&ts me to say the least as taking it off is a pain in the a%se and ive done it once already.............. I too dont want to have to fork out more money on something I already bought. regards Rob
  12. hi Toshi, I have a 1997 series 2 r33 auto GTS-T with FMIC, split dump /front pipe, full 3 " exhaust, pod filter in CAI box, turbo tech boost controller (10PSI), wasnt going to do much more with the car as far as mods go.. I live in Perth was looking at a safc2 .... was wondering if you can remap for my set up and how do we go about it...oh and how much :-) regards Rob
