Yeah it was a hard decision to make. But who knows I may even pull it off the market Even though I have it up for sale now, whenever I drive it I still think twice lol. I thought it might be better to sell as I don't really have any time to drive it, except the occasional weekend. I use a different car for work etc; so my line sits around alot

Hi Livo. If you are interested in a GTR I have mine for sale here in Canberra. It is an R33 though.

There is one white R35 GTR road registered in Canberra. Which I have actually seen for myself. I drove past it earlier today. All I can is. Amazing. Has anyone seen more R35's in other areas?

Road Registered R35 Gtr In Woden Today
Line replied to a20089's topic in Australian Capital Territory
I was driving my Line today and spotted the same R35 GTR in Braddon. It simply looks amazing seeing it for real It was parked on the side of the road. I was going back to take another look. By the time I could turn around it drove off and was no where to be found. The sound of it is just...amazing. This makes me want one even more now. -
Hi, I've got a couple stone chips in my front bumper I would like get fixed and one small dint in one of the panels. Does anyone know a good place I could take my car to have this fixed? And a good place I can take my car to be professionally buffed and polished? Thanks.
-
Thanks. Maybe I'll try to put up some better photo's. It looks alot better to see in person. I checked a few GTR's when I got this, none were as good! The interior is almost like a new car. Very reluctant to sell it...but it has to go.

Good Place To Service A Stagea In The Act?
Line replied to zoomzoom's topic in Australian Capital Territory
I have recently taken my car to Trojan Motorsport in Mitchell. I would recomend them. I've taken my car to Autotech as well, they are also good. Both places have good experience with Skylines. -
Alright, I'll just try my luck and go for the inspection. Atleast I'll know for next time. Thanks.
-
I'll probably have to find a standard airbox then. The Pod's are secured to the body now, just no airbox. Thanks for the info
-
Yeah. I thought it might fail, I don't have the standard airbox. If I were to enclose the pods into an airbox myself, would this be acceptable? Or would I actually need this engineered? Does anyone have a standard airbox for an R33 GTR? I had it passed on ACT a few months ago, didn't think it would be that different
-
Hi, I need to take my car in for a NSW Rego inspection. Does anyone know a good place to do this? I'm just worried the Pod's will fail, they are not enclosed. Would I have to enclose them for NSW rego? Thanks,
-
Yeah, one problem is I'm not sure if I can justify the cost of keeping the car while I'm gone. Maybe I can advertise for this price and consider some offers. How much do you think I should be looking to get for it? Thanks,

Hi, I'm thinking about selling my GTR. I will be leaving leaving the country for abit at the end of year, this is the main reason. I paid $37,000 for it. R33 GTR V Spec. It is in absolutely immaculate condition through out the car. The interior looks like it is new, the car is basically spotless; it's in extremely good condition. The car is stock standard apart from the exhaust system, pod filters and Tomei Fuel Pump. It has new Federal tyres, probably 3000km's have been done. While I'm still unsure if I will sell it, because it's a wonderful car...I'm not sure if I can sell it lol. I looked around at a few different GTR's before I bought this one, none were as clean as this for an almost stock standard car. R33 GTR is basically my favourite car, it will be very regretful if I do decide to sell. I was wondering if you guys think I could get the price I paid for it? I've seen alot of R33 GTR's for much less than this, but I don't think they are as good as mine. Thanks,
-
After all, it was the AFM's. Who would have thought the first set I swapped would have been dodgy lol. After getting some more AFM's from Sly, the problem is fixed. Thanks, Sly. Appreciate the help. I've driven the car to the coast yesterday and it's running absolutely perfect! It seems like it's never run so good!

There is 98 at Caltex in Braddon, it's a white label; called Vortex 98. I use this fuel, never had a problem with it. I've tried BP 98 as well, didn't notice a difference in performance. I might get 400km on a tank if I'm taking it easy, the Caltex fuel seems to burn up pretty fast if I'm not I got 400km or so on the BP fuel driving on the highway. I might try to BP fuel a few more times to test the difference, since everyone seems to like it the best.

I've pulled apart the AFM's already; didn't solder them as they look fine. I'll take the AFM's, Sly. I'll send you a PM Thanks alot of the help

Hi, I've still got some on going issues with my car. Basically what it does; it will run fine. Then you'll hear it drop down in rpm, almost like it's going to cut out but it doesn't. It will then pick up the rpm and sit on about 1100 or so; when running normal it will idle at 900. If you rev it up, you'll get to 2,500 rpm; but it won't go any further than this. Will just bounce up and down 100 rpm or so and does not sound good, It's difficult to explain. Anyway I think it's the AFM's. I just replaced the Fuel Pump..this has no effect. It seems definately like a fuel related or air flow problem. I wanted to see if anyone has some working AFM's for an R33 GTR that I could borrow, before I go ahead and buy some after market ones. If I do use aftermarket AFM's I would assume it needs to be tuned? Is this correct? I've tried looking for standard AFM's; but can't find anywhere to buy them. Heard they are rediculously priced from Nissan. Or if anyone has any ideas on this problem, feel free to post Thanks,
-
I'll check out the Nismo pumps. I could only find the DIY for an R33 GTS-T; is this the same in an GTR? Thanks for the info.

Hi, I'm looking to change my Fuel Pump. I've been looking around it seems many people use the Bosch 044. I couldn't find where to buy a standard nissan pump for the GTR. Although I have not checked with Nissan. I've found some Bosch 044's on ebay for $185. This seems like not a bad price, I don't really have a need to use a pump like this right now though. My car is basically stock standard. I might have a failing pump, so this is why I want to change it. Has anyone installed a Bosch 044 in an R33 GTR? Is it difficult to install and mount this pump inside the tank? What alternatives are there? I only want to put a good quality pump in, I don't want anything cheap quality. Just trying to get an idea of which is the best pump to use. Thanks in advance.

I've changed the AFM's. Not new AFM's; out of another GTR. Which apparently were working fine when they were in the car, this was some years ago though. Anyway, after replacing the AFM's. It seems to have stopped the original issue. After 4 days with different AFM's I have not experienced the original issue once. But now there's another problem... Very intermittent; happened about twice over the past 4 days. First time it happened; I was driving along about 90km's...not accelerating. My car felt like it was jerking slightly, I kept on driving and came to some lights it seemed to have stopped. After this it was fine. Yesterday I started the car and it was idling a little rough, so I reved it up abit. Seems like it was hesitating to rev. I'd rev it to 2,000 or so it would drop down about 200 revs and then back up to normal. I could rev higher no problem, but it would rev up and down 200 or so revs to where I had it set... When its having this problem, theres no loss in power at all, its not missing or anything like that, just reving up and down by these small increments. With the original issue, I found it would not rev higher than 2,500 no matter if foot to the floor. I'm certain the original issue is gone with the different AFM's in. So, I would assume there was something wrong with my original AFM's since it diplays a completely different problem with the AFM's changed. The guy I borrowed the AFM's from had these sitting in his garage for a few years, he says they were working fine when they were last in a car. Any ideas on this new problem? Do you think theres a possibility these new AFM's I've put in have something wrong with them? It's just getting really annoying, its so intermittent. Very difficult to troubleshoot the cause Also taken it to a mechanic, but they were unable to fault it Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Ok, I might bring my brother along too. He doesn't have a Skyline but he likes them!

Where do you guys actually meet at the Museum? Is it in the main area where the actual Museum is? Like the carpark? I'll probably head over there around 9-9:30; is this a good time? I won't drive around much though, since I've got problems with my car
-
I might go to the Museum on Friday for the first time I'm having some problems with my line though. Some intermittent problem Anyone going to be there this Friday?
