Up for sale is my 1997 R33 Series 2 Skyline GTS-T, RB25DET, Auto, Alarm, Immobiliser, Alloy Wheels, Turbo Timer, MP3 CD Player. Genuine 136000KMS. All Stock other than the wheels, alarm & turbo timer. Has 7 months Rego. Privately imported by myself, so I am the first owner of the car in Australia. Has been looked after and mostly driven on the weekends as I have another daily car. Regretful sale, only selling as I need a smaller car for the mrs', so willing to swap/trade for a Civic / Corolla. Have had the car for 5 Years and never had any issues with it, serviced regularly and driven normally not trashed. Car has a dent on the side as pictured, but can easily and cheaply be fixed. $5500 or near offer, priced for a quick sale. No time wasters and joy raiders please. Located in Parramatta Area.

Bought a new battery, put in and it started without any issues. Took it for a drive all good, started the car after 30 min again and its still starting without any problems. So it looks like the battery was the problem after all, the other battery was all watery when i took it out so must have damaged it when trying to jump start it. So relived thought i might have done some serious damage to my car.

Went to chk the fuses under the dashboard 2nit, thought to my self lets see if it turns on, surprise surprise it turned on and i took it for a little drive everything looked fine. Parked the car then tried to start it again about 30min later and it will not start, but it at least it makes clicking sounds now. So now i am thinking that it might be the battery that is dead, so will get a new battery tomorrow and will see what happens.

Checked the fuses in the boot, they look to be fine. I was thinking of maybe taking the fuses to supercheap and getting a new battery, then replace them all and see how it goes. But would still need an auto electrician in case that does not work.

Ok guys need a reliable auto electrician to come and have a look at my R33 as i think i might have damaged some electric parts when trying to jump start the car yesterday. I put the cables the wrong way (i know stupid, but hey shit happens) and had some smoke coming from inside the car dashboard. The car does not start at all, it will not even crank, all other electronics work in the car if the key is put in ignition. So yes anyone can recommend an electrician that will not charge an arm and a leg that could come to my place and have a look at it. Location: Merrylands

Hey mate what condition are the rotors in?, as in will they need a machine or not? also would you happen to know what the thickness is? Can you let me know as soon as possible as i need the front pair urgently (will pick them up 2day or tomorrow if possible), as my ones need replacing. Cheers.

Just got my R33 on the road , so i am now after an alarm, after looking around the choice has come down to the following 2 alarms, so just wanted to know which of the two would people recommend, i am looking at the Cyclops P375B-T which i think comes with 2 circuit immobiliser and Ultrasonic Sensor and the Mongoose M80AU which has 3 circuit immobiliser and Ultrasonic Sensor. I can get the M80AU, for $450 installed thru platinumPPI, but have no idea where to get the Cyclops one from, anyone can recommend an installer in Sydney? Thankx
