  1. Yeah count me in too! I would like to see the finished product before parting with any money first. Ben.
  2. Im after a standard Stagea S1 (or S2 if they are the same) rear wing. Not a massive 260rs just the smaller one. Please email me [email protected] if you have something that will interest me! Thanks, Ben.
  3. Yeah when i bought my car, I was told that the S button was to switch between 2wd and 4wd... but its not! Which have you guys found is faster to launch in? To Syncronize or not?
  4. Manual conversion.. awesome, id love to see it. we will defenantly have to get this Stagea meet going. where did you guys go on the last one?
  5. mr manfringinsen: Thats crazy! he did say he had someone interested in it, and i thought it was the old salesman trick! I did see the sunroof one there too, looked sweet, but i couldnt afford the extra $$ for the roof. but im very happy with mine GoldZilla: If there is a Sydney Stagea meet, im there for sure! I better make mine go a little faster tho! Ben.
  6. That Looks Hot! I especially love your Dayz Kit, I searched for a long time trying to find a nice Dayz S1 but didnt have much luck, If anyone has that Kit for sale, Im really keen!
  7. I quite like the gmax H050, any pics of your stagea with them?
  8. Yeah height adjustable and they have the little damping knob on top of the strut... They are pretty soft though! I havent played with the damping yet... Im not going to adjust the ride height until I get wheels... Anyone selling some R33 GTR stockers?? Im loving my RB powered car though. The info on here is fantastic, I permanently grounded my boost solenoid as per tutorial on this forum. Only took me 10min last night Thanks for all the kind words too! Ben.
  9. Thanks, But are they R33 rims? They are pretty small, I thought that maybe they were a factory option. I prefer them to the mesh ones I have seen on most stock Stageas. I hope to get some R33 GTR wheels on there in the future
  10. Thanks guys, I guess my first newbie question is, do i need those stupid looking twin aerials on the roof? and is it difficult to pull them off as they look stuck down with some tape or glue, is it likely I will damage the paint doing so? Oh and no I dont have a TV in there, just a japanese radio that looks stupid and doesnt pick up due to the limited FM frequencies. I will be upgrading the headunit this week.
  11. Well its been about 18months I have been without a car... Having sacraficed my beloved R32 to start my business. Well its all been worth it, because today I bought my first "Business Vehicle" a Series 1 Stagea RS4. Something I have been dreaming of for 18 months! Anyway here are some Pics. She is pretty Stock except for cat back exhaust and Tein Coilovers - which are suprisingly a very comfy ride, no where near the harsh set I had on my Skyline. Cheers, Ben.
  12. What sort of extra costs have you been hit with that were not listed? I spoke to the guys I have been dealing with today, and it just seems too expensive! the whole point of buying a car in japan was to save money, the figures they are now gicing me after having payed my deposit are now much higher, so much so i would be better off just buying locally and being able to see and drive the car before laying out the cash...
  13. Thanks for the feedback guys! I might have to talk with the guys at J-spec. Im busting to get this stagea, but I am patient enough to wait for the right car at the right price...
  14. Im interested to find out who you have used to get your Stagea? I have recently handed over a deposit for an importer to find me the Stagea I want. After an unsuccessful bid recently, and looking at the J-spec website, im wondering whether Im using the right people. For example, the car we bid for sold for 690,000Yen (higher than the budget set) My importer then went on to explain a car at that price would cost me $22,000 landed and complied! which I think is a little rich considering they only take a $1500 fee. I have noticed that J-Spec offer similar priced cars (in Yen) landed for around $16-17k. Considering J-Spec offer a $1000 fee, Im wondering where all those additional dollars are going... Who on here has used J-Spec or any other importer that you would recomend? Thanks for your help. Ben.
  15. Ok thanks for that! I wasnt sure, as it is subtly different from the the standard factory "aero kit" that i have seen on all other series II's. Ben.
  16. Hey Guys, Im curious to find out whether this is a factory or aftermarket kit? I think its sweet, looks very subtle yet aggressive. The front bar looks similar to the factory series II areo kit, but im not sure whether it all is.... http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n38405037 Any help would be great! thanks! Ben.
  17. haha I dont mind the series two fog lights actually In regards to modifications, I dont really want to take the path I did with my R32 and burn heaps of money on making it quicker... I only plan on making my stagea breathe a little better and fit some nice rims and suspension down the line... and try and stop myself taking it any further My question was more along the lines of - is the series two really worth the extra $$?
  18. Well its been a while since I have posted on the SAU forums after selling my R32 GTS-T over a year ago to fund my business. Since then I have always dreamt of having a Stagea as my business vehicle. Something practical, fun and good looking. Well it looks like I can now finally reward myself with a Stagea! I think I have read every thread on here regarding Stageas, buyers guides etc. But I have now come to the point where I have to make a decision... series I or II. Having built a friendship with an importer through my R32 he says he can get me a series I for around $14-16k complied and a series II for around $18-19k complied... Does this sound realistic or do you think at these prices they will be rubbish? I have noticed a drop in series I prices over the past couple of months but it seems just too cheap for a series II. Unfortunately I havent yet driven a series II - Is it really worth the extra bucks to go NEO6 or should i spend the difference on tricking out the series I? Thanks for any input! Ben.
  19. A very sad day for me, but a great one for someone else. SOLD.
