  1. I went to envy imports in manly the other day enquiring about a stagea for myself. They have one arriving in a week that looks exactly like this one, running full R34 RB26 with about 350awkw.... are selling it for about $59k. Thats exactly what i want.
  2. thanks for all the great info guys, its cleared alot up. Im getting excited about my future car now!
  3. Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can give a simple breakdown on the different stagea models for a novice. I havent had much luck extracting simple information off the net or the forums. Basically I have to sell my skyline for something more practical to suit my business. If im going to have a work vehicle i figure a little performance is necessary and the Stagea fits the package perfectly. Could someone maybe point out the model differences (series 1 and 2, series 1 V etc etc) and what I should look out for as a buyer? Thanks in advance! Ben.
  4. Im ready to sell it if i get the right offer PM me if you are interested. Ben.
  5. Hey guys, I need to get something more practical for my business, so my skyline might have to go... I think a stagea will fit the package. I want something nice, I dont mind if it is modified, up to $30,000 budget. If you have anything interesting, please email me at [email protected] cheers, Ben.
  6. instead of spending on AFM, injectors, adj cam gears or cams. spend more on your turbo. get a 2530, and ecu remap along with the support systems, cooler, fuel pump and reg, exhaust and you have 200rwkw already. with the ability to make more power when you can afford it.

  9. Im interested in some of these. count me in. Ben.
  10. I have to say i dont like the bolt on guards much, But i have considered getting my guards flared for some time, so i can fit the right sized tyres on my rims... and i mean flare, not just rolling the lip of the guard.
  11. Hey sock! i have to ask, why is my car on your avatar??????????????????????
  12. yeah they have released it in a T3 version that bolts straight up to the RB20/25 manifold. Greenline have them.
  13. Sh#t mate, sorry to hear it. If you need a bike come see me as i have just started importing them! and still manage the bike shop in manly. Ben.
  14. the bolt is inside the harmonic balancer pulley. i think its 23mm?? i cant remember. remove the radiator first then turn the HB pulley clockwise untill you line it up with the last timing mark on the pulley, it is usuall thicker or a different colour to the other markings (there are about 5 marks 5mm each apart) then get the car in gear to lock the crank and undo the bolt. you will then need a harmonic balancer pulley remover to take the pulley off. just make sure that everything is alighned after you undo the big pulley bolt, it might need some muscle. once you remove the timing belt cover you can double check your alignment using the cam gears markings and back of the belt cover.
  15. Yeah its not too bad, I attempted the GTR cam conversion then went back to the std cams. Just download one of the R32 GTR manuals on this site. its just a matter of aligning all the pulleys up so that piston no.1 is at TDC. then just start pulling everything off so you can pull out the cam. Just make sure you dont turn the engine over while the timing belt is disconnected or you will bend some valves. Its really not a hard job, it just requires pulling alot off to get to the source. just be carefull of breaking the cam journal bolts and use a torque wrench when putting the new one back in place. good luck!
  16. haha thanks mate i still think the GTR front bar is my favourite, it looks mean without looking too over the top.
  17. Yeah Standard GTR bar with some slight modifications looks good, and doesnt crack like any of that fibreglass stuff! i have the N1 inserts too heres mine...
  18. yeah was an awesome cruise. ive never driven that road before, i had a blast Moanie - There was a liberty that came unstuck and went into a ditch. Apparently he had pretty stiff suspension and just couldnt get any hold on a bumpy section. he was ok though.
  19. Sounds like this should be a good turn out. Do you mind if a friend of mine tags along? he doesnt have a skyline, but its a twin turbo Hachi Rocku! so we might have trouble keeping up around the bends!
  20. Yeah i think i might have to come along too.
  21. Yep you really blew it. just get a 2530 and start driving! But i think that the TD06 should be making at least 240-250rwkw with about 1.3bar. considering the power all us HKS 25series ppl are getting. Do you think that maybe the RB20 will start to choke up at anything more than 240rwkw. But i totally agree, the amount of money we have spent on our current RB20's could easily have paid for an RB31 or RB26 conversion - which is still looking like a plan. But then the question remains, would you really stick with the TD06 20g on an RB31?
