  1. Well after not being able to ever find one for my car, it turns out i now have an extra. It is Brand New (still in Nissan box) R32 GTR grille. It is in factory red-wine colour. I paid over $300 for this. it has never been installed on any car! $290 PM me if you are interested. Pictures available on request, I will post some when i get a chance. Ben.
  2. Yeah i had a set of bilstien and Kings paired, they were very good at absorbing the little bumps, but would actually bottom out with a heavy clang on anything medium to bigger. these were brand new with brand new springs. Now i have tein coil-overs. they dont absorb anything but its alot better than the clunky bilstiens. But the stiff tein let me throw it into corners so much harder than the bilstien.
  3. yeah i know how much they ask at nissan! But if anyone has these parts, please let me know
  4. Bump. I really need these parts!
  5. Ive got a HKS 2530 (T3 flange) on mine, i need to get the computer replaced, or rechipped, because if i run over 12psi the AFM maxes out, but on 12psi in my RB20 i put out 212rwkw (280rwhp i think). it bolts straight onto the existing manifold and dump pipe, but you will have to make new oil and water lines for it. but thats not too hard, i went for braided lines, which can get expensive. i would recomend this turbo to anyone with an RB20 who wants a perfect street car. you dont loose alot of bottom end, but get alot of mid and top end power gains.
  6. As the title suggests i am after a lower lip and front grill for an R32 GTR anyone who has one, please PM me or email me [email protected] Cheers, Ben.
  7. i have a fibreglass GTR style front bar to fit the GTS, its unpainted. been sitting in my garage for a bit. $200 if you want it. i have pics etc. Ben.
  8. Sorry not interested in the XR trade, but thanks anyway. As for the offer of 32K if anyone is serious about purchasing this car, please call Peter on 0412764929. and also, please no chatting on here, its becoming a long thread. if you have any questions PM me. Cheers.
  9. well so far i can get one for $300 from a forum member, i think thats a pretty reasonable price, if anyone can do better i will take it. Ben.
  10. After an HKS super sequential blow off valve. the current aluminium "bullet" shape model. PM me if you have one for sale. Cheers, Ben
  11. Bump. Need these parts
  12. Im after an R32 GTR lower lip and grill. ASAP. let me know if you have one or the other. Ben.
  13. Offers over $35,000 will be taken. PM me if you are interested. Ben.
  14. i get the same power as you with 12psi... they are wicked and are more responsive than a high flow. at 17psi you would make pretty good power i have to get my ecu tuned before i try more than 14psi. so i will let you know when ive done it. just make sure for $1900 you are getting all the oil and water lines, otherwise expect to pay another $450 for braided lines and fittings.
  15. Well the engine rebuild included a full head service and porting, bottom end had the cylinders bored slightly so there is a slight increase in capacity. also a tomei oil plug or something was used (i dont know exactly what that does stops oil surge on launches or something?) the crank was balanced and nitrided/strenthened) all new pistons to fit the larger bore. new oil and water pump, trust metal headgasket. i dont know the exact specs of the turbos, but the quote read "high-flow ball bearing turbos" - as for full boost what psi do you consider "full"? it makes 12psi at about 3800rpm - compared to my RB20 with a 2530 mine feels more laggy. there is so much to list as to what went into the build. give me your email address and i will send all the details to you if you like. Ben.
  16. keep the offers comming, all reasonable offers will be considered. Ben.
  17. thanks. who ever does buy it will no doubt be a happy guy/girl.
  18. i dont have thier details but they advertise in both HPI and zoom magazines, they have a website www.sssautomotive.com.au and yes they are in sydney.
  19. I purchased mine 2nd hand from SSS automotive. it was basically new, didnt have a mark on it. it cost me about $700 i think.
  20. Hey i have the apexi N1 exaust. i honestly love the sound, not too loud but still gives an awesome tune to it. even when the car was not modified it sounded good, even better now but i think the addition of front/dump pipe has made it a little louder than what i would want, but nothing too bad. Ben.
  21. if you have the money to get the 2530 - dont waste your time making a decision. just go buy it. I have a HKS2530 on my RB20 and it is awesome! on a stock ecu it was making 207rwkw at (0.8bar) 12psi. the only thing stopping me from running more boost was maxing out the AFM signal. From what ive heard they are very impressive between 1.2bar to 1.5bar. once my ecu has been tuned ill run 1.2 and let you know, but judging on its performance so far it should be good. do a search on the forum of both turbos, i found the info very useful when i was making the same decision as you. just remember you will have to get all the oil and water lines to fit the HKS turbo. but well worth it, and most of the ones sold on this forum are comming with lines for RB20/25.
  22. Yes, i understand there are alot of cheaper R32 GTRs around, but i have to stress that this car has a brand new RB26DETT. Everything internally is new and has been ballanced strengthened etc. over $14,000 was spent on this engine only months ago. and has only run 2,000kms since its rebuild. It puts out amazing power at low boost, and has had all its support systems upgraded. The person who comes to see and drive the car will understand. So untill then go and buy an R33 GTR.
  23. come on! surely someone has these bits out there! please! i really need them
  24. Im very interested in the lower lip. please email me [email protected] with details so we can work something out. thanks. Ben.
  25. you can only mess with the settings ON a dyno. its really easy to do yourself though, as the dyno i was on, the operator refused to touch it and said they were "alot of wank, those jap gadgets" i had no experience with it, but figured i had spent some money and wanted to see what difference it made and i played with the settings on the dyno and we did several runs. i ended up not making much more top end maybe 5rwkw but managed to fatten up the mid range by about 20rwkw. the dyno guy was amazed. the one thing i noticed however, was when adjusting the dips at say 4500rpm on the dyno sheet, an adjustment on the safc at 4500rpm would actually change the dyno reading at like 5000rpm so it isnt the most accurate thing, but with a bit of a fiddle it made some wicked gains.
