  1. Hey Guys, Has anyone got a spare M35 throttle Position sensor? I am having some 4WD issues with the light coming on intermittently and it wouldnt run on the Dyno properly today because of it. a GTR specialist suggested it may be a TPS issue as its not uncommon in GTR's for the TPS to cause similar 4wd issues. I have read similar problems from other M35 owners, but havent heard of any fix yet. It generally happens when exiting an awkward park or reversing. Sometimes turning the ignition off and back on helps other times it doesnt. I also have a feeling it may be temperature related as it happens more often on hot days. Love to hear any feedback or help. Please let me know if you have a spare TPS I can try for a day or two. Cheers, Ben.
  2. slotted RDA rotors are cheap as here in Aus, shipping wouldnt be worth it buying rotors only OS
  3. yeah either will clear fine
  4. You may also need different caliper bolts for the rear. Its been a year now since I did mine so I cant remember if it was front or rear that differed...
  5. Bugger!! I will be away on a bucks weekend... No stageas there, but 100% there will be strippers...
  6. I had the same wheels on my C34! looks nice in red mate!
  7. 9.5 + 30 should be fine. as long as your car is dropped a little otherwise they will look like they stick out. they will tuck in fine though.
  8. Im sure it must loose some strength... hopefully not too much! Picked up the inserts from Just Jap $165 Link HERE Make sure you use R33 inserts not R32 as they have different curves on the insert lip
  9. Gotta be happy with those results craig! cannot wait for you to take me for a spin some time Almost finished the N1 inserts - just gotta paint them blue and glue them in place properly. It was a bit fiddly cutting through the front reo. Used an angle grinder and hacksaw to get through the center beam. You can see that the cooler gets so much more flow now. and im pretty happy with how it looks - still need to paint the cooler black as it yells out "MODIFIED"
  10. Sorry PN - got bored this morning and its already begun...
  11. Chris (Spoolin) and I did a dual intercooler install. Fitted HDI coolers to both our M35's. A big thanks to Cam for organising the group buy price! They came very quickly which was great. Also thanks to Mum for letting us come round and make a mess in the carport! I also have some 33 N1 inserts, but havent decided if I will fit them. I think that alot of the cooler is hidden and could do with the extra flow, but dunno if it will stand out too much. Might paint the cooler black.
  12. Saw a white PNM35 axis in Manly yesterday. Looked nice!
  13. I think fronts are the same, rears are different?
  14. It makes no difference to the master cylinder - I reckon they feel a lot stiffer under foot, I know my brembos felt so much firmer under foot than the stockies, same with Chris'.
  15. yeah you need massive wheels to fit these Chris has 19 x 9.5 with already aggressive offsets and they still had to be spaced 12mm out to fit. There is also only 8-9mm of clearance between the top of the caliper and rim. So you will need minimum 19's for these to work.
  16. You need to see these in real to truly gauge their size! they are massive! An awesome upgrade... now you just need to make your car quicker! hehe
  17. Well Took it out for a quick spin at lunch today. Plugged in the ECU and everything started and ran perfectly! which is good news. gave it a little bit up the main road and it has a bit more top end actually - infact in auto it shifts out of 2nd at 7,500rpm! pulled hard all the way and I was going over 120km at that stage so didnt want to keep the foot planted. It feels the same at low revs, mid range seems a little stronger (could be my imagination) but definitely pulls better up top and just keeps revving up to 7,500 - which is weird because the sticker on the ECU says 7,000 rpm. Anyway I think I got a good bargain there! Now its time for the high flow and dump so I can really make use of this ECU.
  18. Bugger! looking forward to the next one. Im sure Spoolin will come too - he will want to show his car off after what we will be doing to it next week...
  19. I tried but was unsuccessful... damn it! super keen for the next catch up.
  20. would love to but its the GF's birthday! so I cant make it. Next time for sure!
  21. Ive been thinking about this too for my intercooler install You can get them from Just Jap *Edit - clearly i didnt read above!
  22. Bit of a late Christmas for me Got this in the mail today! Now its time for the rest of the exhaust and highflow Im really tempted to plug it in and drive, but don't want any Jetwreck type problems....
  23. Nope not mine... Its safe and sound in my garage... in perfect working order
