  1. I don't like to knock people on forums, but you have been quick to bad mouth people on this forum due to your ignorance... You did the same thing to me when I offered wheel dimensions for your Stagea - going on a rant about how I gave you poor information and you had wasted all your money on wheels you purchased based on my "bad" information... turns out they were spot on and that you didn't have a clue. Now you are calling someone a "dodgey F#$k" because they sold you squeeky springs! How the hell can solid pieces of steel squeek? If you dont understand a whole lot about cars or anything mechanical, thats fine - this is a great place to learn, with loads of friendly and helpful people that put in a lot of effort for fellow forum members. But dont go bad mouthing other people when you have no idea what you are talking about! I personally helped Chris remove those springs, which were in fantastic condition, and I highly doubt you can pick them up cheaper new. Sorry for my rant, but I hate it when people attack others due to their lack of understanding.
  2. I was in the car with Spoolin! didnt see you... but we did see a Black M35 with an aftermarket grill on Monavale rd in St Ives on the way.
  3. Yep that was me My first yahoo auction experience! I have an SAFC II hooked up now with no tune, but will see what works? any thoughts or recommendations? maybe something like you have scotty. I will talk to you about dump soon - Spoolin (Chris) and I both need something
  4. Need to drive Andy's car too... going to do turbo and dump now! also picked up a tuned ECU on IM... bit of a gamble, but its programed to run 1.1bar of boost, 7,000rpm rev limit and speed cut removed... not sure what else has been changed and even if it will work... but its more power time!
  5. Sorry to nag, but how are these dumps coming along. My itch is getting stronger and I cant wait any longer! I need more power.
  6. haha Yeah they aren't cheap! I kept my eye out for a year before I found a set at a bargain price overseas. Well worth it though. Not too many options that simply bolt up and work perfectly like these...
  7. Yeah 350Z or V35 Brembos are a direct replacement with rotors etc. No brackets required. Much better feel, and lots more bite
  8. Removed and sold my Tanabe Sustec Pro coil overs today. Going for something stiffer - waiting on the BC's to arrive. I hope they show up as I am now suspension-less! I also hope I don't regret the decision to move away from a comfortable ride to something stiffer!
  9. I have seen an M35 with stock rims spaced out and it looks way better. But like Dale, Im not so confident about them. You need some pretty big spacers for those skinny rims, so it will be bolt on spacers with studs to get them out enough.
  10. Yeah mine sometimes comes on. When its on the car is rwd. Usually I just turn the ignition off and then on again and the light is gone and its 4wd. Most common problem is low 4wd fluid in the attessa system. just pop the little box out of the right hand side of your boot and check. It uses a synthetic transmission fluid i beleive. Ben.
  11. Ive got the Kakimoto also. To be honest I have found any problems with scraping. Its the same under the car as the stock - the only bit that is lower is the tip, Ive scraped that a few times, but nothing bad. My brother has the Fujitsubo Legalis on his. I think its a much neater looking exhaust and the tip sits nice and high. But my car is faster and the only difference is exhaust! so maybe it flows better... Mine definitely sounds better
  12. haha IF i do decide to sell I would part out the wheels, brembos, coilovers, sway bars and exhaust.... But I do agree with what most of you have mentioned. Especially the part about being a bogan! haha in fact I have a funny story about that. The other day I was at the pub with a mate discussing the idea of getting an XR6t and this rough dude in flannel, missing teeth and a mullet comes up and says "are you thinking about getting a falcon turbo? They are F#$@ing sweet cars mate, you should definitely get one - I've had one for a couple of years now!". My mate who had opposed the idea from the beginning pretty much fell of his chair and says "enough said!" But they are a much newer car, and they do have loads more power not to mention MANUAL! - yes less grip, but that can be fun too... Ideally I want my car with 300rwkw and an R34 GTR gearbox... but that aint cheap!
  13. Gave the stagea some love today, fresh oil and filters, good wash and polish... looking good again Although (and let the abuse begin) I have been considering selling her for an FG XR6 turbo ute... I know! I know! I hate fords and holdens. But after recently driving a stock standard one, I was impressed at the power, and after doing a little research it doesnt take much to push 300rwkw. Please talk me out of this...
  14. spotted a silver s2 C34 today on sturdie pde, dee why this morning around 8:40am then a white M35 near Brookie maccas at about 3pm
  15. I saw a white m35 in brookvale today. Was that yours? Im in dee why and always notice a new M35 around
  16. got a flat today and realised something that never crossed my mind... The bloody M35 space saver wheel does not fit over 350Z brembos! haha very frustrating...
  17. I have a set of Sydney Kids Selby bars and they are a worthy upgrade. I also have my stock sway bars still if anyone want to borrow them for a company to bend and match a set to. Cheers, Ben.
  18. Yeah should be the same. If they are re branded RDA go for them. Otherwise brakes arent one of those things you want to cheap out on.
  19. Im sure Chris and I will be keen for another drag session too. Lets make a meet of it PM sent too Andy
  20. Finally spotted ey! and we through your car was invisible!
  21. I sometimes get a driveline shudder in my M35 - usually happens after going over a speed hump and gently accelerating out. If i back off the throttle its fine afterwards. I sometimes had the exact same thing in my C34... I was never able to work out what it was.
  22. Yeah I was lucky enough to pick those up overseas at a steal! I was considering RPF1's they are much more understated, but look so tough! With the RPF1's you have to get at least 9.5 wide of they have a really flat face - they need pull to look any good. Which is tough because the only one suitable then would be the 19x9.5 +42 running a 10mm spacer - but the really conservative offset doesnt give a huge amount of pull on the spokes. Obviously the 19x8.5 +22 is perfect within the guards, but not enough pull....
  23. I think nitrous is one of those things people are scared of. Im not an expert by any means, but if you know what you are doing it is a very safe and cheap way to make good power at a very low cost. Otherwise I can recommend some really nice twin turbo kits for you DO IT!!!
  24. The ride height and spring rates were really impressive with these springs. We thought it had after market shock absorbers it rode so well, and were really surprised it was only springs when we pulled them out. Good value upgrade!
  25. It will pull in heaps when you lower it. Just load your boot up with sanbags or something heavy to see....
