  1. White M35 parked right outside my place in Dee why... dunno who though!
  2. Saw a red S2 C34 on warringah rd this arvo about 4:45 heading towards the city.
  3. Im really bummed I couldnt make it. Maybe we should organise a stagea meet there some time? Would be great to see how everyone goes in their wagons
  4. Unfortunately Im not going to make it tonight! Im really keen to get out there in the next few weeks though, and cant wait to hear how everyone else goes! Good luck! Ben.
  5. I am spastic and couldnt find a date, you talking this wed 25th at WSID? I could be keen...
  6. Thats hot! best C34 ive seen
  7. the first Wald set would fit, but I wouldnt recommend staggered either. The second set has too aggressive an offset and wouldnt fit under the guards either end. Ideally on an M35 you want 9.5 width and +35 offset
  8. They bolt on perfectly, a couple of us have done the conversion. Are you selling yours? PM me a price if you are.
  9. spotted a black M35 this morning 9am on Archer st, Chatswood. Gave a flash and a wave, I think they saw me.
  10. Fitted an SAFC II to the M35 today. I had it lying in my cupboard for the last 2 years, and thought it may come in handy! Only wired it and set it up for now. Need to make a mount and fit it stealth somwhere, then get on the dyno when I have finished the front of the exhaust to tune it.
  11. Hey Scott, What size is the in and out of the intercooler on M35's? Incase a cheapy pops up, I might hack into one!
  12. Scott that looks awesome! good work! I like how you removed that centre bit of plastic from the aero bar - I hate that bit! Did you have to cut a lot of the bar away to fit that in?
  13. haha i spotted him there too! didnt see you tho! I did see Andy 5minutes later at the pittwater rd/warringah road intersection...
  14. Personally, do it yourself! that way you always know its done well! Otherwise i would go to Envy imports or Good Spanner on the northern beaches. Im not sure if Northshore prestige service, but I have heard good things about them too. They know their M35s
  15. you will see a few around. I live in dee why and work in frenchs forest, same with Spoolin 12 (Chris) and Andy works northern beaches too.
  16. Thats hot scotty. PM about your old exhaust. Keen on making another one of those front/dumps?? Ill buy one...
  17. + 30 will be fine, you will just have to roll the lip on the rear guard or just run a tyre size down so they are a little more stretched. I just would be careful on the front guard. Here is how a +35 sits on my car - as you can see its pretty flush up front. So +30 will sit 5mm further out, the rear will be fine with just a roll if needed, but the front guards are already rolled. Honestly you will be fine with a stretched tyre.
  18. haha nice! remote starter hey! perfect for the emergency get-away! Good work on the aero kit! I still think its the best kit available for the M35
  19. Hey Scotty, Spoolin and I worked out that the perfect fitment is a 9.5 with a +35 offset for the M35. This will get it flush to the body without any rolling of guards and clear the front suspension arm by about 7mm. So no mods to the body and 100% no scrubbing. It will also mean you get that deeper spoke pull on the XT7's that make them look soo good! Im pretty sure the XT7 come in a 18x9.5 +38 which would be sweet with a 3mm spacer to give a little extra clearance on the front suspension arm (if it wasnt for that arm, we could easily fit 10.5 to 11" all the way round!
  20. Yep that was me! and my mum in the car! haha
  21. Not sure if this has been discussed on here, but I came across this a couple of weeks ago: http://www.autoblog.com/2010/01/12/rumormi...rged-2-5-liter/ It is rumored that the 2011 Nissan Infiniti will be released in a 2.5l turbo variant using the VQ25DET like that in our M35's. It would be awesome if we saw some aftermarket parts produced in the US.
  22. Mine makes the farting noise occasionally, but not very often. What I have noticed is that there is no change in the boost guage when it does happen - which to me would indicate its not a cooler clamp, or BOV but more likely manifold or exhaust...? Either way its the same sound as in spoolin's car as I have been car for the same noise.
  23. whoops my bad! they were +40 with a 5mm spacer! so +35 offset in the end
  24. they were +30 with a 5mm spacer. So that confirms the ideal M35 fitment as 9.5 +35 offset. Oh and they look insane! so tough!
  25. You can run them so low the wheels are way under the arches, but here is a pick of the height I run them at: Before: After:
