  1. ive just creamed my pants after looking at all those photos.... ill definitely cancel cricket for the next one...a year away! dammit.
  2. spotted many a skyline yesterday on my way to Just Jap...
  3. wow, dude that is one clean car. If i had my turbo restrictions taken off, I'd take it!! Good luck
  4. oh wow, so we can get the dvd bit working! awesome. Ill send Chris a PM Thanks Eug
  5. Ive got a 2.5" catback mandrel bent exhaust custom made. cant even hear it on idle, but it begins to roar after 3000rpm. i LOVE it because people are astounded about the difference between how quiet it is during idle, and how nice the grunt is at high rpm. going to get a new high flow cat soon...not sure If i want to buy Xforce though... Reggie ive got a resonator on mine, works a treat. p.s. mine droned quite a bit for a few weeks....so give it sometime and see if it quietens down after a while...
  6. Saw this purple/blackish r34 gt-r last night....LED tail lights...no spolier...nice fat bodykit. it zoomed past me so i didnt get a great look. was cruising with a 180 and EKcivic
  7. wheres the Sydney one...
  8. hahaha yeah, dw mate. I've only had a bunch of good coppers so far. I think your 'be nice' attitude really works in terms of establishing a 'good image' sort of thing - drivers who give attitude should expect to get no abmonishment.
  9. Im with Ian. Save your cash for a turbo for when you can drive it. Max I'll spend on my N/A is 2.5-3g's...exhaust, cat, turbo brakes and maybe some nice rims. However if you got the cash, I estimate you can get a good 130-135rwkw without opening the engine too much?? Exhaust, Cat, Extractors, Adj Exhaust cam gear (~retard 3 degrees??), new fuel pump (if yours is dying), an effective Pod and CAI setup or high peformance panel filter, and some good quality fluids. New bits and peices here and there.
  10. Yeah, talking to MissR34 (Cara), its worthwhile saving for a PowerFC. Now as for the E-manage....the blue: No workshop that I asked recommended it for the R34, Im not sure how the Gold compares. But it was something to do with the coilpacks....Please ask around first if you are to install the gold as coilpacks are pretty expensive. I bought and sold my E-manage blue because of the all negative reports it received being installed on 34s.
  11. I remember your words at the very first KK's meet up Dave.. "I f*cking hate Hondas...look at those idiots over there. VTEC my a**" hahaha
  12. Good to see this event continuing... Can we not have this as a night cruise?!!? It might be a bit easier for guys who want to go to the dyno day..and for me! Im 50/50 on a day cruise at the moment. Hills cruise is on the Sunday prior to this weekend Look forward to meeting you guys at one or both of the cruises. p.s. Mitch you're an original Krispy Kremes member...stop promising and start doing!! haha
  13. yep ill have to get new tyres for my 350z babies.
  14. Thanks Nick, ive used that to check... the new rims are 108 and 164 mm larger in front and rear rolling diameter, respectively. What difference will this make?? wow thats a 5 and 8% change in rolling diamtere. it says +/- 2% is a safety net. think ill need new tyres
  15. im beginning to get the same noises...
  16. thanks Trav, thats what I've mostly been reading on the internet. much appreciated.
  17. you'd have to upgrade your rotors as well. im pretty sure they are thicker than stock gtst ones... most rational ting to do is probably use high performance brake pads ie EBC Greenstuff, Bendix Ultimates, AFM (these are popular + theres a group buy on i think) theres a brake pad thread in the forum, search and take your pick. ^^ my 2 cents based on the fact you just want it for street use, and will follow recommended speed limits Im getting turbo ones for my non-turbo...but just for the look after theyre painted.
  18. Hey guys, as the topic suggests, WIll I need to calibrate my speedometer and some other parts to compensate for lagrer rims? I have a R34 Non-turbo. Stock rim size is 16 inches. I have 17 Inch rims on at the moment. I want to put 350z rims on them, which are 18 inches. Thanks, Shane
