  4. parts = 1500 (just use r33 parts) labour = 800-1000. greg at autosports quoted me 1000 for labour.
  5. theres a guy on the forums who just converted his gt-r to gas. do a search.
  6. go on saturday lol.
  7. i gotta travel about 45 mins to the meet point too. i put in 100 octane last weekend just for this cruise!! wooohooo.
  8. buy a pair from the QFM brake pad group buy PM markk and he will let you know what he has. i think he has run out fo rear pads but has front pads for the N/A. for light trackwork, youll want K750 QFM pads, otherwise street work k500's will do. just let markk know what your needs are and he'll look after you:)
  9. congrats on the sale chris!! sweet old ass ride.
  10. im gnna try and find this joint. might be there about....1 hour or so late. i get home at 7 =/ whats doing after?
  11. yep. as i said in my first post, it gets very messy....and its a big hassle... + cant run high boost with a turbo conversion unless you get new pistons.
  12. lol sounds a bit dodgy. how many times have you broken down on the side of the road 'jkeys' ? id like to have the comfort of knowing everything on my car can handle the power that a DET produces. N/A skylines have sold like hotcakes since the introduction of the new p-plate laws in nsw. why do you think theyre just as expensive as the turbo cars? personally, if i was in Chris' position, id just sell my n/a, and just get a gtst....actually id go back to my old LPG ffalcon again, my 2c.
  13. lol itd be cheaper to sell your non-turbo and buy a turbo, in my opinion. if you drop a det into your non turbo, youll have to change your brakes (you dont HAVE to, but for safety reasons..) probably your fuel lines + system throw some gauges inside. it all gets a bit messy. simpler to sell, and buy a turbo. my 2c. Eug could probably clear up. (gosh i love relying on you Eug. You're just so reliable haha)
  14. welcome to the party Kendal!! hopefully you can pick up some good tips on the forum and meet some good characters!! gnna head over to canada in December!!
  15. paid 1.78 for 100 octane on sunday night. dispicable.
  16. umm wtf pics shengers:D n shit.
  17. that, vick, we will have to see. you will feel an improvement in responsiveness for sure though. but for you, maybe you need to get a smaller cat back
  18. dont think there's a need to take out the engine lol. going to wait for Trevor's results then make a decision on a possible group buy. Trev, i'll try and go through with you all the points that Eug raised earlier so i can post em up in here, or if you're keen just throw us some feedback. Cheers.
  19. hmm id pay maybe 11-12k for that car? think ive seen it on the forums actually. the km's would be a turn off though.
