  1. if u have been boosting it up past its boost limit then u could have exploded a wheel which will sound very bad and most probably end up in alot of smoke. if u have had no smoke u could possibly have just blown an intercooler hose off like the previous person stated. if u had blown a vacume line of u could have possibly had a massive boost spike which could destroy your turbo. i hope for you its just an intercooler line. i have scene where those turbo's are mounted and what a bitch.
  2. ok so im expecting alot of i told u so's. i got my PFC delivered today and plugged it in fired the car up and everything seemed sweet. did the initial start up routine and still everything looked sweet. buckled up selected reverse still everything sweet. put car into drive and yeah well not so swee anymore. yeah the car drove but it seemed to be in 2nd or 3rd. so yeah i can take a few sucked in's i told u so but it would be nice if someone could tell me if they have had this happen and found away around it or should i just start pricing up a manual box etc and just be done with it and make it a manual. i think someone told me that it would be the only RSV manual RWD in Aus if i do go ahead with the conversion. i picked up my turbo and intercooler today also but thats nothing special to anyone here anyway. Garrett high flow GT 3076 and cooling pro cooler with the retun to stock piping. will take a few pics in a few days
  3. do i need an r34 or r33 fuel pump for a S2. found a tomei pump just need to know what one to get.
  4. i finally fitted some splitfires and boy what a difference it makes to not have a car spitting everywhere. i just picked up a second hand pfc with a hand controller for $850 on ebay. now just have to sit and wait. my turbo will be ready on tuesday from ATS. Bill is building me a highflowed dash 12 gt3076 for $2300 and my front mount from cooling pro should arrive by the end of the week. then all i need is a weekend to fit it all and get it tuned. my main aim is to have it looking stealth under the bonnet so i reckon all i will do from here is a set of cams to lower the compression a little bit and that will be it. i will probably just run 10 to 12 psi for a while until i can afford some injectors. any idea what sort of power i can achieve with the stock injectors. i would like to get eventually in the area of atleast 250 but would like about 280rwkw. should make for a fun RWD stagea. will post up some pics of the turbo when i pick it up.
  5. Luckily for me i have an RWD so it will be a plug and play with out wirring issues as i actually have traction control. yes i have an auto but it will very soon be shift kitted and if that fails i wont have any problem putting a manual trans in there due to only having a RWD in the first place. the ebay price is about $1500 new with a hand controller. does that sound about right.
  6. just wondering where the best place is to get a r34gtt power fc. is it best to get one with a hand controller or is it not neccesary. do all power fc's allow removal of the airflow metre or does a specific one have to be purchased. im not to sure about putting $1500 or so through ebay so im looking for else where.
  7. well thas funny cause i just went out and had a look at my rear shockers and i definatly have bush type not fork struts. about the brakes i would just like to know why they would have diffent types just for a RWD and AWD. bloody stageas this is getting to be annoying. i just got these of import monster $200 + postage for RWD specific coilovers with the standard springrates and camber tops
  8. also what difference have u noticed with the brakes. i was thinking of putting 33 gtst calipers and discs in soon anyway so it probably wont matter that much.
  9. i have a 98 model series 2. do you know what the difference is in the front or do you just know its different. the RSFour has a GTR front suspension set up so im guessing that maybe an RSV is more similar to a 33GTST. i really dont know enough about either of the models to say to much but i have found a few sets of WGC34 (not WGNC34) specific coilovers on a few sites. just wondering also if SK will be able to differentiate the difference between the models as im going to be ordering some sway bars from him as my car doesnt even have a rear sway bar fitted.
  10. hi guys was just wondering if anybody knows if RSFour suspension is different to the suspension i would have in my RWD RSV. there are alot of coilover kits for RSFours but not a big range for the RWD stagea and i just wanted to know if there is a difference.
  11. Love it, Love it, Love it. How awsome is that, great little vid u did there man. I knew i hung around the red car for a reason i got to see my stag heaps and i especially loved the little fade out at the end.
  12. what an awsome day. would love to post up some pics but am just having a few problems with the net at the moment. loved the drive back along the freeway and cant wait to see some video footage. look forward to doing it all again.

  14. the am performance split dump has a divider that goes into the the waste gate area of the exhaust and yes it is a very tight fit but i cant imagine that it wouldnt fit. i saw Andrews jig that he uses and it is absoloutly fool proof as he has the exhaust housing at one end of the jig and a flange which would be where the cat is at the other. i thought about the cost also but what the hell, u only live once. just email him for a few pics
  15. i have an early S2 and when i brought an R34GTT dump pipe it ended up being wrong (only in lenght by a few inches but still fitted i just needed a custom decat pipe)and as it turned out i should have got an R33GTST one, just something u should look into if u have a really early model S2 or a RWD only like what i have. i brough an AM PERFORMANCE split dump pipe of Andrew here in adelaide and he sells them on eay for about $380 i think it was. i put a trust power extreme II 3 inch cat back behind it and found that i had a sweet note through the entire rev range but what i did notice was the great improvemnet in spool up time. the only thing i had to do was slightly bend the oil feed line going into the turbo to miss the waste gate section of pipe. i would use anything this guy makes as it is impeccible quality. just my two cents AM-Performance ([email protected])
  16. just wondering if anyone has heard of an HKS Automatic Line Oil Pressure Controller, there is one for sale on import monster to suit a wgnc34 but all the research i have looked at says its for Z32 transmissions. http://www.importmonster.com.au/view?url=h...C%20WGNC34%20AT i think i have read somewhere that the Z32 trans is the same as the S1 but what about the tip tronic S2 and where on earth would it get wired up to.
  17. my main reason for this is that i hate the throttle body and intercooler piping assembly going over the top of the motor when it can be moved quite easily. i realise a just jap bolt in cooler is only $500 bucks that uses the original return pipe but i just dont like it and that's it. i have a pretty stock car at the moment but it's not going to stay the way for much longer so i thought kill a few birds with stone or 3000 of them any way. cooler t/b and a good flowing manifold that will all bolt in without major modification and give great overall response and hp gain with head room for more modifications down the track. they guys at plazmaman advised me that the Greddy manifold is really only good for drag racing (WOT) due to its short runner design. well if i go through with it i will let u guys know about the results before and after any other modifcations. RS4's dont have traction control due to them being AWD. mine is only RWD like a GTST R34 therfore it has traction control.
  18. why on earth would i say that if i did this mod i would loose my traction control if i didnt have it in the first place. well know tha we have sorted out that little fact could someone please give some sort of feedback regarding the actual post which was about inlet manifolds. cheers
  19. i have been doing a little bit of looking around for bolt on mods for a NEO RB25DET and came across the plazmaman inlet plenum which u can by with a throttle body and intercooler as a whole kit for about $3000 (thats the competition spec cooler and billet T/B) cheaper coolers available and an R33 T/B would fit. i was just hoping if anybody could tell me if they thought that this plenum ( you use the stock runners etc) would rival the GREDDY manifold. they also make a great looking Stagea specific cooler. http://plazmaman.com/shop/index.php?action...&itemId=193 im a bit pissed of that i will have to sacrifice my traction control to do this but thems the breaks.
  20. just been waisting some time on ebay and came across this. i thought it would look nice in my engine bay. im doubting any ecu piggy backs will let me tune my car with this on. lol http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Garrett-GT3...0236938632&
  21. me 2, me 2, me 2. i will be there for sure
